PFF grades from Panthers' Week 8 vs Falcons
Luciu5 replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Greg Olsen was the same way, but he would then get 10 yac with his mind powers that slowed downed the defenders to his speed. -
as of right now do you want wilks as the HC next year
Luciu5 replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
No, too conservative. Seems more conservative than Ron even. -
At least he isn't throwing picks yet?

Chinn still on IR?

Panthers win Sunday…1st place in the South
Luciu5 replied to Panthers Fan 69's topic in Carolina Panthers
No reason to root for a loss. If enough fans want to tank, will the team win less games? A low pick is a consolation prize for sucking. No reason to hope for that poo. We'll either get a low pick or we won't and nothing anybody here wants is going to affect that. Some motherfugers are just miserable human beings and want everyone around them to be unhappy as well. Losers don't like being alone I guess. -
Panthers win Sunday…1st place in the South
Luciu5 replied to Panthers Fan 69's topic in Carolina Panthers
Would only take 10 seconds here. If there were alot of them who want to tank, there should be threads on the front page. I'm not going to check though because this is dumb as poo. This poo ain't a job. But yeah, if the overall vibe is they want their team to tank and it's taking more than 10 minutes to figure that out....wtf? O.o "overall vibe" is obvious in seconds. When you walk in a room, takes you 10 minutes to figure out the vibe? You write some dumbass poo. -
REPORT: Panthers highly unlikely to trade DJ Moore
Luciu5 replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Myles Garrett signed a 5 year deal. Year one cap hit is $9M. I'd expect Burns inital cap hit as $6M-7M. -

I'm glad you're not a cap manager, because you would suck at your job if Burns+Bozeman=30M in year one of a deal. Thank God the Panthers have smarter cap people than you. -
Panthers win Sunday…1st place in the South
Luciu5 replied to Panthers Fan 69's topic in Carolina Panthers
We've won 1 game post Rhule. Could we win Sunday? Sure. Can we win 4 more after that? There's a good chance PJ turns back into a pumpkin and we collapse. Right now, I still think top 10 pick. -
The formula is complicated. No, I don't think we'd get a 3rd though. It has to do with salary, playing time, post season awards, etc. That stuff isn't determined until the end of the following year before the draft. And if we sign a similar caliber player, it will offset the comp pick. If Baker is on a new team and is a pro bowler next year, then we might get a 3rd. There is also a limited number of comp picks each year league wide.

Inside the Carolina Panthers' three seasons of quarterback failure
Luciu5 replied to Vox's topic in Carolina Panthers
Incredible article. And at this point, any benefit of the doubt I gave Rhule, was clearly too much. Though I kinda realized that after the first few games of the year, but this just makes it clear that not only was he in over his head, but was entirely clueless and self defeating. -
Albert Breer talks Panthers, Burns, and details McCaffrey trade...
Luciu5 replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
I've been saying this for a while. Defense is good enough. O line is great now. We have some weapons. We still need some pieces - DE/Edge, MLB, DT, TE, WR maybe RB, but overall we can drop a QB in and be competitive. Many of these can be fixed in this upcoming draft if they hit on the 2nds. We could be playoff competitive in 2024 with the right QB and HC. -
Who is Henry Anderson? Can we get a 1st for him?

8 of our 10 remaining games are winnable.

I think that's how most football games are won... -
Ladies and Gents say hello to your 2023 starting QB
Luciu5 replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
I don't think I understand this thread. -
I'm fine with 2 firsts for Burns if one of them is top 15 in 2023.

Updated Cap for 2023 after the CMC trade……
Luciu5 replied to WarPanthers89's topic in Carolina Panthers
I mean, it's 3 restructures. -
Shaq isn't bad. Just overpaid. He's a mid tier linebacker but with a top 10 salary. I don't get the vitriol over his contract though. It really hasn't been an issue and I think fans worry about cap hits more than they need to. The linebacker group as a whole isn't way out of line cap wise, and that's how many teams manage capspace, by position group. I wouldn't trade him for less than a 3rd personally. Either way, he's gone after this year anyways most likely.
-
Not sure if it's been said, but it could be weighted by pass block plays/run block plays.
-
I agree he's an idiot. But that's not the same as stupid or dumb. Different connotation imo. Idiot doesn't speak to someone's intelligence. More along the lines of foolish.
-
Because he speaks with a different dialect? So are all British people fuging stupid as well? Odd as this sounds, his spelling was perfect for the dialect he was portraying. When "finna" is spelled correctly and he made sure autocorrect didn't fix it. I guarantee he isn't as "stupid" as people think. His dialect is his dialect, same as British or Aussies have a dialect, and he types to match his dialect intentionally. You're just racist. Straight up.

"...he planned to wear a different jersey of a Carolinas sports legend to each home game this year, and will eventually get it signed by that athlete and then auction it off to benefit their charity."
