I know Carr is better then the likes of Mayfield and Darnold but I find it really hard to believe the coaching staff and F.O. are gonna go after a veteran QB again when that's what got Reich fired in Indy and is the same thing we've been dealing with. Just seems like it would be a tough sell to the fanbase especially considering Carr isn't gonna come cheap.

I really hope we don't give Wilks the full time HC job he's done well but his 2 wins have came against the Falcons who have a bottom 5 roster in the NFL and the Bucs who were in free fall in the beginning of the year. We need to find an offensive minded HC.

His PFF score through week 2 was good but from week 3 onwards it started going downhill. He was regressing every week. He just doesn't get the push in the run game like Bozeman can.

Don't know why we had Pat Elflein starting over Bozeman all season..

I'm telling you guys we're overthinking this. Bryce Young has everything you want in a QB and we shouldn't pass on him if we have a chance to draft him. I'll take the risk that he could get injured in the NFL but he's too talented to pass on.

I know a lot of people on here don't want Bryce Young because of his frame but these stats in regards to CJ Stroud should be more worrying imo.

I don't see the point in trading CMC unless someone offers a good deal. I.E. 1st round pick. CMC can be a great safety valve for the rookie QB we draft next year. There's also an out on his contract after 2023 where we can save 8m and 12m in 2024/2025 since his contract is non-guaranteed 2023-2025.

Bad cap situation in 2023 and Shaq Thompson saves us the most money (13m). He's the most logical choice if he's not traded or cut he probably gets extended to lower his cap hit for next year.

Bryce Young is just different imo. He never panics in the pocket and is great at improvising when the play breaks down and creates out of structure. The only concern with him is his small frame.

We need a competent coaching staff first. No reason Ron Rivera should've had 3 winning seasons his entire time here when he had Cam Newton and Luke Kuechly on the same team.

This doesn't really mean much. All that was saying is Tepper wasn't gonna fire Rhule if we lost to the Saints. No point in firing a coach 3 weeks into the season. Rhule is gone at the end of the season or near the end.

The Saints wouldn't trade Sean Payton in division and he wouldn't want to come here considering we have no QB. However if Tepper somehow managed to get him I would be extremely happy. You can think what you want about him but he's a HOF coach.

By the way I know we need a QB but if we have a chance at Will Anderson if I'm the Panthers there's no way I'm passing up on him.

Most of the "elite" QBs today weren't even drafted with a top 5 pick. Mahomes went 10th overall, Watson went 12th overall, Lamar Jackson went 32nd, Herbert went 6th overall, and Josh Allen went 7th overall. We just need a coaching staff that can develop a young QB. I really like Will Levis and his upside but I don't think if he's worthy of a top 10 pick yet.

I don't see it they had multiple players along with coaches out for that game. They beat us starting Taysom Hill in that 2nd game as well.

OL hasn't been that bad. Baker is creating his own pressure. It happened last week as well. Ickey struggling is to be expected though.

Corral won't even get a chance to start if Rhule is fired. The new coaching staff will likely draft a QB even if we have to trade picks to move up. Also considering we're over the cap by 20 million next year unless Baker takes a short term team friendly deal or plays at a legitimate top 10 level I don't see a path where we re-sign him.
