  1. Maybe I'm misremembering but didnt he look really good in the offseason activities last year as well?
  2. At least there were different posts and every post didnt turn into the exact same comments over and over every time.
  3. It came out that that wasnt the case just a few days. More of that confirmation bias. You hate Rhule so it's obviously him that wants to make the move that you dont like.
  4. The opposite could be just as true...
  5. Based on what? A random thing said in an athletic article before they have even had a padded practice? People are just looking for any reason to become enraged. No matter how thin.
  6. It's too early for any of this to mean anything, especially with rookies.
  7. I dont know about saying its Fitterer that wants him but I do know it has came out in the past couple of days that Rhule was leaning towards going with Darnold and Corral.
  8. I would rather have him than Garoppalo if I had to pick one but I would rather take neither.
  9. I'm not campaigning for Mayfield I meant to say. Didnt catch it in time to edit it.
  10. I'm not sure what you mean by a certain type of player. Jay Cutler is another one widely known for it.
  11. Would you say the overall roster is better or worse than 2 years ago? What about the overall coaching staff? I'm not saying the answer is yes or no, that's up to each person's opinion. What I will say is it is very common and in fact likely for people to improve at their jobs with time and if they learn from their mistakes.
  12. I mean, this post is silly, but the saddest part of it is how many huddlers hope you're wrong because they want to be proven right more than win.
  13. Sure. I'm campaigning for Mayfield. I dont care that Robbie has that opinion of Mayfield. I just dont think he is a good enough player (especially last year) to put the front office and locker room in an awkward position by openly campaigning against or for things like that so publicly.
  14. We have had several. I would say Trai Turner is an example. Albert Haynesworth was a huge one. There are lots but I will have to think about some specifics this afternoon.
  15. I think most people realize he had his worst year last year. I think it would be ok if it was just that. He sucked last year, Sam has always sucked. They both arent liked here. The big thing with Robbie is he comes off as soft, dramatic, and like he really doesnt want to be here or put in the work. Hes just always calling out demands like hes the face of the franchise and he hasnt earned that. Hes constantly pointing fingers or talking publically about how he doesnt want Mayfield etc.
  16. Historically most players that I can think of that have a terrible year the season after getting a big pay day continue to have bad years. That happens a lot more often than it being an outlier.
  17. No, you're right. We hate Rhule and every move that has been made at all since we collectively decided this is entirely his fault. That's how we want it to be and since we really have no idea that's how I'm sure it is... yea right.
  18. Or it was exactly like reported and he didnt want to put in all those hours during fishing/hunting season immediately after retiring. I feel like he realized a little time away from dedicating his entire life to football might be for the best
  19. It's crazy how insecure this place gets after Darnold has one really good practice.
  20. Lol I agree with the sentiment but throwing Corral to the wolves hes not ready for may not be the best thing for him just because we dont want to see Darnold again, and unless Corral starts and shows he could potentially be elite basically if we end up with the first overall pick next year we would take a qb again. Just like BC and Icky. Mid rounders can definitely be great but on average top 10 players are going to have more tools than third rounders. But like I said I hope Corral balls out.
  21. There was one prospect that was considered as possibly ready to play this season and he had no ceiling. It was understood a few weeks ago that most of the qbs this year were going to take time to learn the NFL game. Now before OTA's are even here everyone is ready to throw Corral into the fire? He ran the least pro system of any of the prospects. Hes most likely not going to be ready nearly as most people on here seem to think.
  22. How many rookie qbs drafted in the third round were drafted expected to get playing time their rookie year in recent history? Heck there is still debate on if a first rounder should play right off. Much less a raw third rounder that may take a bit of time to adjust to a pro game. I hope he does. I hope he dominates all ota's, starts week 1 and is a pro bowl qb who leads us to the super bowl in his rookie year, but Hope's and actual expectations are two totally different things
