With Panthers cleaning house how safe is Bryce
Tr3ach replied to Frank9999's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think he is 100% safe next season. If we actually had our #1 pick that might not be the case but here we are. You use this draft and offseason trying to add some explosive skill players and suring up the offensive line, then if bryce doesnt improve drastically next season then he's pretty much done. -
So many excuses for and with this guy. First he says in the back of his mind he was playing not to get hurt (because allegedly he severely overvalued himself) which I take to mean he wasnt always giving 100%. So first off he blames his bad season on playing not to get hurt then later in the conversation he says he was playing hurt most of the season as the excuse for being bad. Just take accountability and move on.

I have a feeling Caldwell has a lot more do with the offense since Frank was fired.

Mingo done for the year with foot injury

He isn't that great at contested catches honestly. Not for his size and strength. -
Mingo done for the year with foot injury

I was talking directly in comparisons to Metcalf. Metcalf doesnt play as big as he could either. It doesn't matter how big a player plays if they cant create any seperation. Thats not how nfl offenses are ran anymore. -

I disagree to an extent. AJ and Metcalf looked pretty fast and explosive on tape. Mingo definitely didn't, and it shows. He just ran a decent 40 time. Which means nothing when the game starts if it doesnt show up there. -
I can never get tweets to embed on mobile but we very well may end up the worst offense in the NFL in yards AND points. https://x.com/gregauman/status/1742253754873745637?s=20

A review of Scott Fitterer's drafts (spoiler alert: they suck)
Tr3ach replied to TN05's topic in Carolina Panthers
I would say if we clean house (which we clearly should) then that will include most of our scouts as well. -
I would trade our receivers for the wsh receivers in a heartbeat.

100% this. Everyone always wants to find someone to pin 100% of the blame on when there is plenty to go around. Im not sure why though, I guess because if you make one person the face of every problem then the problem seems easier to fix. -
A review of Scott Fitterer's drafts (spoiler alert: they suck)
Tr3ach replied to TN05's topic in Carolina Panthers
The only difference is the bad players we draft are a lot less athletic than the bad players we drafted when Rhule was here. -
O definitely think you're overreacting. Even if he ends up a total bust we basically only throw away one more season.

The td pass to Chark where he was rolling to his right was plenty impressive enough.

Honestly since that drive at the end of the game last week and continuing in to this week it seems like the game is finally starting to slow down a bit for Bryce. He has seemed much more in control for the most part.

For all that is holy please let this season end GameDay Thread
Tr3ach replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
Young gets a little rythm and then we call super predictable run plays 3 downs in a row.. -
Fast, quick, and shifty is what we need. I dont care at all if theyre 6'3 or 220 lbs. Im fine if theyre small. We just need explosive players that can create seperation and keep db's honest.

Tepper being “incredibly accountable” behind the scenes
Tr3ach replied to Martin's topic in Carolina Panthers
She was also half of the hunger games article. I see no reason to think she would just make a fluff piece. -
Yea from what I remember he was the one that kept reaching out to the Panthers, not the other way around.

NFL Insider Mike Sando asks what Tepper has learned
Tr3ach replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
The truth is though most of the people writing these articles have any idea ehat Tepper is thinking or if hes learned or not. It has just became a topic that gets clicks right now. Also most of the people writing these articles that are talking about the clear mistake the "all star" coaching staff were praising it when it was formed and helper coin the name. -
Somehow that worked once with a lot of people blaming everything on Rhule and Fitterer getting a total pass. It wont happen again.
