The Panthers are the worst rated team in Madden 23
Tr3ach replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
This is silly. We hate PFF ratings but put stock into madden ratings? That's where this place is now? We get it, everyone wants to be negative about the team all the time. It just seems exhausting to me. -
Panthers sign pass rushing DE to replace Haason Reddick
Tr3ach replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Is he going to get us to the super bowl this year? If not why would we sign more of a luxury player to a 1 year deal when we can just roll the cap over to next season instead. -
Kurt Warner on The Herd, talking about our new QB.

Everyone remembers that. What no one seems to remember are the times before the injury. -
If only there was an available RPO expert QB to mentor Corral....
Tr3ach replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
I honestly dont think we will want him to run that much of an rpo offense. By some of the moves I think we are going to run a power run offense with a play action passing game. Honestly probably more similar to the Jake days but with a lot more rb routes mixed in as well. -

I wouldnt say he was an expert at it. I would say he was blessed with physical skills to be good at it. A lot of elite physical athletes arent very good at teaching because they didnt have to worry about the intricacies as much. -
These takes get so old. You're just confirming bias. That's it. if you like the move it's because Rhule didnt get to make it. If you dont like it then its Rhule. If Rhule says something you dont like then its absolute gospel, if he says something you like then it's because someone else is making him or because he doesnt mean it. You cant give someone all the credit for good moves and tuen someone else all the blame for bad ones when we have no idea and they are probably all working together.

I'm pretty sure they liked Corral the entire time. I had always kind of heard them tied to liking Pickett and Corral as basically 1a and 1b.

Hamilton ran a 4.7 at his pro day though. That's why he fell. That's slow for a safety and basically potentially limits what you can do with him. I've said the whole time if this 4.3 talk was true he should have ran it but on tape you could clearly see he wasnt a 4.3 guy.
-
They also didnt get ran down from behind multiple times by linebackers who play in whatever conference liberty is in.

Yea I keep seeing media posts on twitter about the baker trade heating up and I think cle has to be putting that out there. It makes no sense why it would be heating up while the qbs keep falling.

Howell reminds me a lot more of RW than willis does. I don't really see any similarities in those two.

REPORT: Robby Anderson available for trade
Tr3ach replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'm not sold on him entirely (I'm not sold on any of the qbs fully even though I want us to take one) but he does give me a little bit of Russel Wilson coming out of college vibes. -

But he can run kind of fast and throw really far as long as it's his first read, well sometimes he will miss his first read too but still! -
Fitt Says We're Done For Tonight, May Look to Move Back Up Tomorrow
Tr3ach replied to Proudiddy's topic in Carolina Panthers
I dont think he was ever especially interested in Pickett. I think that was all smokescreen and people hated the idea of Pickett so they wanted to believe it was true because they hate Rhule. -
Round 1 - The Carolina Panthers select Ikem Ekwonu
Tr3ach replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yea I think they were clearly fielding offers to see if they got any really worth trading back and they didnt. People have to remember just because you want to trade back doesnt mean there is always going to be an offer on the table that makes it worth it. -
In his interview he said teens was where they would want to move to and 20 would be the absolute furthest back.
-
No worries. It could definitely be read either way but it seems like they for sure want to try to trade back if they get a good deal.
-
He means trading back from #6

I still remember some of those double trouble glory days where they just ran behind the right side of the line over and over and couldnt be stopped. A monday night football game against the giants I believe it was really stands out to me.

I dont get this evaluation at all. Willis's reads in general are one of his biggest question Mark's that I've seen.
-
The elite picks are OT and edge rusher. If one of the top OT dont fall then we could still use another edge rusher.

I agree. I watch all his breakdown videos and they are great. Then his comments and rankings dont line up with his comments in the individual videos at all. I dont really get that part of it. Also the shot at the panthers seems a bit misplaced. On paper (which is all we can go by right now) our oline is well improved, CMC is healthy for now, we have a really solid wr room overall, and an OC that is known to be good for qbs. I feel like his summary video is just parroting the mainstream media takes for some reason while his individual game breakdowns are much better.
