A lot of the mods are part of it unfortunately. If you dont add anything besides "rhule sucks" in every post then you are being blindly optimistic apparently.

Because literally every posts turns into the exact same people making the exact same post every time. Every post devolves into the exact same point being made (rhule sucks we get it) no matter what the original post is or if it has anything to do with Rhule in general. Not every single post has to turn into Rhule sucks. Its ridiculous at this point.

A forum is literally entirely made up of what other fans think. Nothing we say here affects the panthers as a team in any way. Its just a bunch of fans discussing their opinions

It's crazy the amount of "fans" here who get mad about stuff like this.

The comment I was replying to was talking about how the first and second string has actually looked solid in the preseason. Also the players are playing and practicing with energy. Everything you hear coming out of the locker room is the players have bought in to the coaching. No matter how much people hate to hear it or spin it.

After the announcement Rhule said that changes how many qbs they had to keep on the roster. Aka only have to use 2 roster spots now instead of 3. He basically said today PJ is gone.

That's because half of the huddle doesnt care about facts. They dont like Rhule so they ignore anything they cant spin into a hypothetical negative against him. The worst part is winning wouldnt even change a lot of their minds because they would rather just be right.

They want the team to play all the starters so Corral can get reps with them and never actually play a game this season as the would have been third string QB. On a positive note we only have to carry two qbs on the active roster this time.

People blaming the coach for a player getting injured now. Huddle gonna huddle.

He wasn't ready, that was clear. He needed more time to sit back and learn. Even though this was more of a fluke injury, injuries were also a concern and more time in the weight room and to know the playbook were obviously needed. He wasnt the great qb immediately that some fans had delusionally hoped he would be. No coaching from any coach would have changed that in a couple weeks.

I like how literally everything that has happened so far has shown Rhule's handling of Corral was correct, and still its turned into a way to bash him. Corral wasnt where we as fans hoped he would be right now and it's as simple as that.

Belechick didnt really play any starters last week I dont think.

I think I saw theyve said they are going to alternate quarters so he should get plenty of run. Hopefully he settles in with time this game.

Its because they need to evaluate the entire offense, not just the qb. The offense as a whole runs much smoother with PJ back there. As we've seen. I understand that Corral is #4 on the depth chart but #1 in our hearts, but still. This isnt just about Corral right now.

Pot meet kettle. No one is saying Rhule hasn't made mistakes. Anyone new to a job does. I'm not even sold on him. I'm 50/50 if hes the answer or not, it's sad how much this place makes people need to defend him with their bs takes. First time coaches with no experience are going to make mistakes, that is known at hiring. The question is do they learn from them. So far it does look like there is a chance he is learning from them. He inherited a 5 win team that had Kuechly and CMC for 16 games. It was one of the oldest in the nfl and in cap hell. Now it is one of the youngest, in much better situation as far as the cap goes and has much more talent and less holes overall. It's been 2 seasons and he started with no experience and in a complete rebuild. People need to stop acting like they already know everything about the head coach already.

I dont think you fire a first time head coach for the over hyped oc he picked immediately after getting the job. Unless he picked someone from Baylor or Temple he didnt really have any nfl connections or picks for oc that he would have known would work out any better. I also think Tepper saw all the hype Brady was getting after the LSU season and how so many teams wanted him apparently and helped steer things in that direction as well.

Pickett and Corral arent comparable. Pickett was literally the only qb scouts thought could possibly legitimately start a game this season and be ready for it. He just has an incredibly low ceiling but the highest floor.

Jesus of course now this turns into a hate Rhule for hiring him post. Dont you get tired of posting the exact same spin on every single post on the huddle every day? He fired him pretty quick and hired an experienced OC. He learned from experience on the job as people do. Good for him.

I'm not sure he was 100% the one that picked Brady. I think Tepper had some to do with that too. Maybe not though. Just my feeling.

The Cam vs Clausen scenario is perfect. I'm glad you thought of it. It has amazed me the takes in here that if one third round qb looked good in the first game of preseason then somehow that meant that literally the only ways ours didnt was coaching. There are infinite variables.

CB and DT are both positions with multiple "starters". They were also clearly in the top two of those. LT is different, BC improved a lot in the offseason according to everyone and Icky they clearly want to play LT. They had a competition and within 2 weeks of pads they decided Icky was good enough to start. I dont see any problem at all with how that was handled. If you are talking about Corral then yea, hes nowhere near Baker or even Sam right now. I know we as fans have a huge emphasis on Corral and his importance to the team but the team looks at him as a third round rookie (as they should). You have to show something in the snaps you get to earn more. So far he hasnt, hopefully he will. The Rhule haters really think that if Corral hadnt showed up and showed out at camp he wouldn't have got more snaps? The best thing for the team and the coaching staff would have been Corral to show up and be Tom Brady in camp. . That didnt happen yet. For now he will end up being the third string qb. No team in the nfl gives their set third string qb a lot of snaps in practice.

This place lol. They cry about Icky not starting immediately, Rhule wants him to earn his spot, he does and is now the starter, the huddle cries. The huddle cries that Baker isnt the starting qb, rhule says their is a competition, Baker wins it, Baker is named the starter, and alas, the huddle cries.

Why? Sam is going to be the backup unless some team wants to trade for him. Pj probably isnt going to be on the roster and so far Matt hasnt done anything at all to earn more reps. Most third round rookies arent handed a bunch of reps. They have to earn them. So far getting to practice early hasnt been enough surprisingly.

Hes our 2nd best qb by far and as you said he most likely wont be traded. Yes a fine backup for a season.
