  1. We've just got to start targeting quick shifty route runners in the draft instead of big stiff receivers who are fast once they get going like it's the 90s.
  2. I agree about Dalton for sure. Bring him back for another year and go all in on defense this draft. Especially pass rushers.
  3. The way the upcoming draft is shaking out on paper so far, I honestly think we should just bring Dalton back for another year and just draft defense. We have to have the worst front 7 by far and 0 pass rush. Upcoming draft is full of pass rushers especially. Don't reach for a qb out of need and just add some talent to this borderline talentless defense.
  4. Burns isn't a star and the rest were quite a few drafts ago..
  5. This I agree with. An aggressive creative DC can scheme up pressure from time to time the same way a good OC can scheme receivers open. I think Evero is a pretty decent DC, I just personally prefer a more aggressive style.
  6. He's a very specialized player. He's not fast and also a bit undersized with the specific skill set of deeper seam routes. Hopefully he develops and is a great player for us but like with most of this recent draft, I don't really feel great about him.
  7. Historically Alabama isn't where you want to go for quarterbacks or offensive tackles.
  8. I'm just never going to feel good about a Bama qb. Too much talent around them to tell anything.
  9. That 100% plays a part in it. He had multiple easy drops. You can't body catch deep balls in the nfl.
  10. Because you can't be a deep threat in the NFL if you body catch. You've got to be able to high point the ball with your hands.
  11. He was trying to get out of bounds with a second left to try to throw a hail Mary. I believe they were playing to get a field goal and then onside originally.
  12. I'm not saying he's a bad coach. He's really good depending on what you want. His best skill is making a defense that lacks talent, average. I just will always prefer someone more aggressive.
  13. Yep, so far he looks like a big body not quick receiver who doesn't use his size or his hands at all. He looked good in the first half at least
  14. XL has got to stop body catching. You can't be a big body wr and be afraid to use your hands.
  15. A team with bad tackling is usually definitely a sign of coaching.
  16. He's good at making a defense without talent average. That said he's pretty vanilla and not very aggressive or creative. There are some coordinations that can scheme up pressures and he's definitely not that.
  17. Outlier and unicorn are two different things. He's an outlier, definitely not a unicorn.
  18. Unfortunately not. I was already thinking about this. Now they will just say that the organization Carr'd him. Even though he has been the exact same player since game 1.
  19. He did, even after they followed up and said is he starting next week, he didn't say yes, he just repeated Bryce is our qb. Also people saying this big change are again overrating interview speak. Coaches literally don't have to give us a real answer to anything in an interview. There is no way immediately after the game in a post game presser the coach is going to say, we are benching our starting qb. That's not when you make decisions like that nor when you say it.
  20. I don't think they would be calling Plummer up because they think he's better. I think they would be calling him up because Bryce’s time here is over.
  21. Because it's easy. It allows the 24/7 content machine that always has to have something to say that is modern day sports media, a chance to have a loud opinion that everyone can rally behind (panthers being a joke) without them having to actually watch any tape or anything. It's low hanging fruit.
