I was going to use Nick Foles but he fetched a 4th and he was a SB winning QB. So enlighten me, without bias speculation, what a good starting point should be. Last time I checked starting QBs are not traded often.

This is all speculation. Jimmy G was traded for a 2nd, so to me that is a starting point to guess. A 1st straight of depending on where in the draft is there also but for the 8th overall pick the Lions would have to take Teddy off our hands also. Don’t see this happening honestly. Logistics wise we don’t look suited to be the best trade partner for any QB unless Teddy is involved too. If not thats a major sunken cost for the organization.

How do think the smaller school prospects will fair? Will this schools hold pro days for them? This is another year we will see the real work put in to find the diamonds in the rough in the later rounds. I hope that we can snag some Andrew Norwellesque guys late or in UDFA. So many nuances caused by covid are really helping show who’s a true talent evaluator and who is doing multiple choice after round 1.

PFF simulator isn’t bad at all. If you move the sliders to be less random it won’t make questionable picks but honestly at this point without a proper big board any mock draft is a crapshoot.

I still am hopefully we get Wilson over any trade. His intangibles are worth the chance. Gives us plenty of money and draft assets to help fix the line and retain the offensive firepower. A trade would mean we have no room for error and have to be extremely smart with every signal football move for a few years to have a solid foundation built to be a contender. I would rather build culture with our own people. TB is ours for up to 2 more years, I’d take that with Wilson developing and a lot more young offensive firepower to accumulate over time.

I wish we would’ve played NE in the SB that year. It was a better matchup for us. That D line the Broncos had feasted on our inept O line and inability to adjust on the fly. Didn’t help Philly Brown went out early, our Rbs decided to loses the ball every other touch and once that Cotchery catch got deemed a drop I knew it was all over. That was a very unfortunate SB but that should’ve been what finally got us O Line help and more weapons but alas we weren’t ready for success under that regime. Great NFC championship game though, lol!

It’s crazy how Brady no matter the situation can lead a team this far year in and year out. People may dislike him or have so many things to say a bout little nuances of his character but dude is a baller.

No matter the QB next year, the line is the biggest need. TB would have won 2-3 more games this year with a competent line lol.

Unless we really find a way to finesse the cap losing multiple years first round picks is a hard pill to swallow for just one guy. Generational talent or not. The WFT is still in turmoil because of RG3.

Until we know where his preferred destinations maybe its hard to deny our weapons. If we were to get him resigning or replacing Samuel and fortifying the O Line would and should be top priorities.

Heard he’s been dropping because of a few factors. Without an actual combine things might get weird with certain players but I’m higher on Rashawn Slater honestly
