I get that he has an absolute canon for a leg, but at this point I think its pretty obvious he's never going to get it together.

I think its obvious that he's gone at this point and it seems like they're just trying to figure out the logistics of all of it. Who will take his place and how they can void the contract without paying guarantees.

For my amusement I hope he stays in Jacksonville for at least the rest of the season and the soap opera continues. My alma mater is a Pac-12 school so it would be unfortunate for him to go to USC as well.

You're right. He's been way off several times deep. I also think its fair to see how accurate he is when the pocket isn't immediately imploding though.

It's pick your poison but this is what it boils down to for me. Hurney gave us: Peppers, TD, Olsen, Cam Newton, Luke, Gross, Double Trouble, DJ Moore, Brian Burns, Beason, Kalil, Charles Johnson as iconic Panthers Gettleman gave us: Christian McCaffrey and MAYBE Shaq Thompson as iconic Panthers. Gettleman's late round drafting wasn't even really better either. Hurney would swing and miss a lot but when he hit, we'd get guys like Josh Norman, Greg Hardy. Their midround drafting is pretty comparable with lots of mild hits and big misses for both.

It depends on what your definition of competing is. If you're talking about super bowl? I doubt it unless Sam Darnold has an MVP caliber season. But for the playoffs, yeah. Only one team will come out of the East and North divisions. It's possible that all three wildcards come out of the West, but you've got to think that divisional play will cancel one of them out. So that leaves up fighting with New Orleans and Tampa Bay for the division/3rd wildcard.

He's got better but he's still not as good as he seems to think he is. It's a little bit too much of a coincidence for me that he got better as soon as we got a defensive line full of killers.

We supposedly loved Henderson in last years draft and he was in play until Derrick Brown fell. He may have even been the guy that Rhule wanted to trade back and take.

Pretty much all of the rookies Quarterbacks have sucked this year. Trevor is trying to play hero ball. Mac has training wheels on and he's still throwing pick sixes. Wilson has 3 seconds to throw and is just YOLO chucking it. Fields has 3 seconds to throw and is throwing it into the dirt. Lance will probably end up being the best of the bunch just because he has the best team and coach.

Watching the Bills vs. WFT. A couple of things have stood out. It's the same old Ron Rivera. The Bills have dominated this game and haven't taken their foot off the gas. Learning from their prior team's history? The Bills are doing everything we should have done with Cam, with Josh Allen. They've developed him as a passer and greatly limited his rushing.

It really didn't look that bad. He was barely limping when going to the locker room.

I don't know what happened to him but he's finally become what we always wanted him to be. He's explosive and seems like the leader of the defense.

CMC hurts. The team was visibly shaken after he went down and he is the motor of the offense. Jaycee sucks but I think we'll be fine considering how lights out our defensive line has been.
