That's on you then because he was a pretty big deal not too long ago and I believe he interviewed for our GM opening when Gettleman got it. Pretty surprising he never got a shot as a GM somewhere.

The woke stuff has resulted in record low sales which is astounding since the characters are more popular than ever. But yeah, its the same principle as before. Do something "shocking", generate headlines, then return things back to the status quo in 6 months.

Vikings are better than their record suggests. They have a strong pass rush. I would be incredibly impressed if the Panthers actually won.

Time will tell. I agree with letting Hamilton go, it sucks but we have too many other people to pay. At the moment I'm looking at it like this. They know they're going to have to give Svech, Aho, and Turbo bank vaults eventually. So they're going to have to cut a few corners somewhere. They've rolled the dice on some high upside defensemen and might have made the goalie position better just because of consistency. I know that seemingly is looking very far in to the future but with as long of a contract Dougie wanted/got it still would have become an issue.

I'm very excited but nervous at the same time. If some of these moves don't work out its going to be a shitstorm.

I've noticed it since the first game. He tends to lock on to wideouts and barely look at anyone else. I'm not sure if this is something he's done his entire career or something the coaching staff is having him do to try to make the game easier for him.

There's no reason to think otherwise about either of those yet.

If you follow comics at all you know exactly how this is going to go. They did this to drum up controversy and attention. Sales will probably be poor. Clark Kent will be Superman again this time next year just like he always was going to be anyways. I agree that the woke stuff is annoying but I don't even care in this case. If they can take a known character who no one really cares about and make him a hero for gay kids, good on em.

On tv Eagles fans sounded just as loud if not louder than Panthers fans. We've lost everything Cam built already. I get that its difficult because you don't want to cross the line into your fanbase being considered assholes, but there's plenty of teams who have good passionate fanbases who don't let opposing fans take over their stadium. Pitt, Buffallo, Seattle, etc.

In the behind the scenes stuff you can clearly see that Donte Jackson and Shaq Thompson are the leaders of the defense. No idea about offense though.

I wanted Slater too. That's mostly why the Horn pick was disappointing to me. With the defensive backs group we've assembled at this point we don't really even need Horn.

I just don't understand these peoples mindsets. I have had zero expectations the last few years so all of the positives have made me nothing but hopeful for the future. I firmly believe that we are on the right track but I am also not delusional enough to think we're a super bowl contender.

The fact that Brady interviewed for so many openings and wasn't hired by any of them is a pretty bad sign. Jaguars and Bears fans want him desperately right now, and like others have said I wouldn't really feel bad about letting him go.

I don't understand people on here. Have they already forgot just how bad of a roster Matt Rhule inherited? The mess was NEVER going to be an overnight fix. They've steadily improved the roster both years though and that's all I can really ask. With all of the holes this team had when the new regime took over, it was obviously going to take several years even if everything went right. Hell, Tepper straight up told us this. The fact that we're even in playoff contention is a great indicator of how good this team has been built so quickly. There are many teams out there who would kill for the situation we have right now. Offensive line will get fixed in the offseason. There is no doubt about that to me. Once that happens and we have our skill position players and defense, we're going to be in a great spot. Darnold is the wild card, but even if he doesn't work out we'll be in a great situation to make a rookie QB succeed.

It's a couple of things. We played some pansy teams the first few weeks, and teams have tape and have learned that they can bullrush on the inside and destroy us. At this point I assume any time we face a team with good defensive tackles its going to be a rough day for the offense.

Yes, the team played horribly today. Offense was a disaster on every level. Special teams was atrocious. Defense was on the field so long they got gassed, etc. But despite all of this we were a blocked punt away from winning. The team being awful and still almost winning is a silver lining to me.

Have you ever considered that defenses get tired when they're left on the field constantly?

Our specials teams are so bad that the coach HAS to be fired. I can't recall specials teams EVER being this bad on ANY team. They've single handedly cost us several games. the entire offensive line sans Moton is bad. Teams have figured out they can just man handle us there. Jeremy Chinn and Brian Burns have basically disappeared. Who knows about Sam at this point? You can't really blame it all on him when it seems like the entire offense is underperforming (except DJ Moore). Bad blocking, bad playcalling, dropped passes, and Sam throwing INTS. It's a complete shitshow.

I was never a fan of the extension. Should have extended DJ and rolled with Marshall.
