Tom Brady has more passing TDs than our franchise.
CanePantherHornet replied to Tbe's topic in Carolina Panthers
Ehhh. I don't think that's giving them enough credit. They had built a good team before Brady came there and they've continued to have good drafts since then. They drafted well and built a solid core. They hired a great coach and coordinators. They took a chance on Brady when almost everyone else was calling him washed. -

I would rather have 1 good year that resulted in a super bowl every 20 years and suck for the rest of the time than I would our fate. -
Rapoport believes Watson will be traded before the deadline

2 firsts if the highest I go. MAYBE a player/later round pick thrown in. -
Monday's presser: Double down on Foxball
CanePantherHornet replied to trueblade's topic in Carolina Panthers
He knows exactly what the problem is he's just not coming right out sand saying it. Is he completely uncommitted to both Darnold and Brady in that presser. -
His press conference gave me a little more confidence. It seems like he knows exactly what the problem is (Brady) there just isn't much he can do about it other than outright firing him. If I had to guess, by the bye week, Brady is gone and Sean Ryan is interim OC.

I agree with the sentiment for the most part about Canes/Hornets vs. Panthers but you're all missing on the all important luck x-factor. Hornets got lucky that they hit the lottery. They got lucky that Minnesota and GSW both passed on Lamelo. Hurricanes got lucky that they won the lottery. Granted they took years and built a fantastic farm system and made some amazing trades, but landing Svech was the turning point for us becoming true contenders. The Panthers were a few draft picks away from being in this exact scenario. We were one draft pick away from having both Justin Herbert and Peneii Sewell which would have been franchise altering.

Exactly. For some reason they think they can contend now so they're desperately swinging at the fences and compromising our future in the process.

After the last few weeks it is completely possible to lose out.

Something tells me that if he was traded he would suddenly return to the CMC of old. It's fuging ridiculous he has been out this long. The dude was BARELY even limping.

When did you give up on Matt Rhule?
CanePantherHornet replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
I mean, in his defense, even if it was a JAG at QB, the offense should not be shitting the bed as much as it has. The offense with this many weapons should not be this bad even if Nathan Peterman was under center. -

I bet Browns and Cardinals fans are very happy they let go Wilks and Kitchens considering how much those teams have improved. I'm not 100% sure it needs to be Rhule, but I think Brady definitely needs to go. Fire him now and hand it over to Sean Ryan for the rest of the year. -

I'd rather have held on to Teddy than have wasted money and draft picks on Darnold. They could have kept building up the team around him then plugged in a rookie when the time was right. -

Should have just been patient and kept Teddy. -

In retrospect, I gave up on Joe Brady when I saw him sitting in the booth with a box of crayons. -
Dear David, have you heard about the excellent investment opportunity known as Shib coin?

This guy was Hurney's final gift, and quite possibly his biggest. -

Phil Snow is the only one who comes off as being an NFL caliber coach. -

I never bought in 100% anyways. I thought we were trending in the right direction but it has become obvious that we're probably just as bad off now as we were when Rhule took over. Ask yourself this; what exactly does Rhule do so good that makes him worthy of being a head coach? I can not think of a single thing that Rhule is exceptional at. He does come off though like he himself thinks that he is a galaxy brained football God.
