Just being realistic the Panthers are a team who does not have a lot of talent, and there was absolutely no way for them to fill all the holes this year. It sucks but we're still rebuilding.

Matt Rhule on Jaycee Horn - Why he is the best fit
CanePantherHornet replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
It's just such an underwhelming choice. It would be a lot easier to get excited about if he was a ballhawk or his scouting reports didn't talk about him getting burned by speed receivers and having issues with penalties. I guess I just don't see why they're so high on the guy. -
General 1st Round Draft Discussion

Certain peoples reactions to Cam riding the bench behind Mac Jones is going to be fuging hilarious. -
I've said all along that some people were going to expose themselves during this because way too many people have been reporting completely opposite things about what the team is doing.

I don't think we're really that interested in Fields. I think it's all been a coordinated smoke screen to trigger someone into trading with us. I doubt Sewell or Pitts will be there. If we trade back I have a nervous feeling we'll end up taking some guy none of us have even been discussing and it ends up being a letdown.

This is what they get for beating us in the super bowl. fug them.

Charlie Campbell: Darnold landing with the Carolina Panthers came in part because the team believed the quarterbacks they liked would be off the board. Those signal-callers are Zach Wilson and, to a lesser extent, Justin Fields. The Panthers knew Wilson was a lock to go in the top three after the San Francisco trade, and many assumed Fields would go third overall or would not make it to their pick at No. 8. Sources say Carolina does not like Trey Lance and does not feel he is a good fit for Joe Brady's offense. They also don't believe Mac Jones has the skill set to justify being a high first-round pick. There is some debate in the building about Justin Fields, with some liking him and others being skeptical. Those feelings about the different quarterbacks led to the trade with the Jets, and with Darnold in the fold, the Panthers are likely to target a cornerback or left tackle at No. 8, provided they do not trade down.

My official prediction is that we trade back and end up picking someone who none of us are even discussing right now. -

I don't think we like Slater. I've not seen any sources mentioning him, only fans. -
This is what the Football Team is currently discussing.

Man, Matt Rhule is looking rough these days. For the last few months he's had the consistent look of never sleeping. -
Joe Person on Panthers plans for #8 pick

I'm keeping track of all of this just for future reference. I don't think Joe has ever been overtly full of poo though.
