Stanley Cup Playoffs: Round One, Game 5
CanePantherHornet replied to Harbingers's topic in Carolina Hurricanes
We're only down 1 goal. There's way too much doomsday posting going on for it being one single goal. -

I can not wait for the day when referees are made extinct by AI. -

Why in the fug are these referees so biased towards the Predators? Is there something I'm missing? -

Who’s eligible for Hard Knocks in 2021?
CanePantherHornet replied to CarolinaLivin's topic in Carolina Panthers
It's gotta be the Jaguars. That poo is going to be a circus guranteed. -
Why the fug would you draft Kyle Pitts if you were going to trade Julio? The only reason taking Pitts made sense was to make their offense an undefendable juggernaut.

Questions about Newton's status in NE?

This is bullshit and they're just trying to save face. There is absolutely no logical reason for a smokescreen in their scenario. Jaguars were obviously taking Lawrence. Jets head coach just came from the 49ers so he had to have some sort of inkling what they were thinking.

I love hockey but it is not meant to be played for 12 periods over 3 days. The team looks exhausted and it is beyond boring to watch. -
Ron "learning from his mistakes" in Carolina

If its one thing I know about Rivera its that he ALWAYS talked the talk, he just hardly ever walked the walk. I'm guessing that's part of why he got so many chances despite being medicore. -

Did the entire team run a train on Erik Haula's wife before he was traded or something? That dude is a salty bitch for seemingly no reason. -
Jeremiah's latest podcast includes Kuechly

Just some of my takeaways He said Rivera was a very hands off coach and let the coordinators and assistants do their thing, only stepping in when needed. Rivera sat down with him 1 on 1 and watched tape of Brian Ulracher to help him with some issues he was having as a rookie Rivera would have low impact practices on purpose to help the team stay healthy He praises McDermott a lot, does not mention Wilks or Washington once McDermott helped him learn methods to scout and study film better. Under McD they would keep entire notebooks full of notes on specific coordinators systems He apparently really did resign just so he could go hunting and fishing You can tell he does not like analytics people, or is at least skeptical of them -

Its been crazy seeing these guys grow. Tom Dundon, Rod Brindamour, and Don Waddell deserve so much respect for turning the ship around and getting us here. It's so refreshing following a team that actually grows, develops, and learns from mistakes. At this point I want to face the Bruins to exorcise those demons. I don't think the Hurricanes would get bullied anymore. -
It's easy to explain. The stock market is slow moving and there isn't really a feeling of being able to change your entire life based on it. In crypto people are constantly talking about their investments x100, x1000, etc. A lot of people want to say differently, but its a casino that can make you filthy rich if you play it correctly.

Rhys Lloyd was really cool back in the day. For a few seasons he was one of the best things about the Panthers (which is sad). -
I personally hope that he starts and we annihilate him just for the shitposting that would ensue.

It makes me nervous just because the Hurricanes are one of the favorites to win it all. -
He's not dumb so he knows he's fuging people over with his dumbass tweets. I wish the ***** never would have started talking about crypto in the first place.

I just want to know who is going to be this years Jason Carter/Brandon Wegher.

Well that sucks. Hopefully he's just done with football and won't go to Washington or Buffalo.- 91 replies
