Again let's see how it plays out. I have a feeling that we will see the same thing with Cam that we did with Sam over the last few games. Because of Brady, The line, No Cmac. What does Sam give us? If he pans out next year? Youth. Health. He might not bring the same energy as Cam but the players respect him especially after playing with a broken shoulder. They know he won't ever quit on them. That goes a long way with the guys. But like I said if Cam goes nuts the rest of the way and we think he can hold up.next year go for it.

The reason I want Cam as a Taysom is if we are playoff contenders using him in that role almost guarantees he stays fresh thru the Superbowl and we could probably extend his career. Like turning him into a closer in baseball.

Let's see how Cam does sans Cmac. I don't want Cam as the bridge at all. Sam should be the bridge. Cam just slows the rebuild just like Teddy did. Next year either home run with Sam or get a number 1 pick. QB class will hopefully be better. Now if we are damn sure Cam can be pre Watt level over 21 games then roll with him. He could very well take the worst team in the east and one of the 3 worst teams in the NFC (over the last several years) to back to back playoff berths. Heineke was almost able to beat Tampa in the playoffs last year.
