  1. Lol in way less games Peppers had 10 more sack without looking about twice as many forced fumbles including a 60yd td, 3 interceptions including a 97 yd pick 6. LMFAO Burns doesn't belong in the same sentence as Peppers.
  2. Most great pass rushers are hitting double digit sacks either in year 2 or the first year they start. Bruce Smith yr 2 15 Kevin Greene 16.5 Deacon Jones yr 2 12. TJ Watt 13 Reggie White 18. Derrick Thomas 20 So really if he's going to be great typically he would have had a big year by now.
  3. Greg Hardy punished people when he hit them. Greg Hardy could play the run. Greg Hardy averaged .79 sacks per game to Burns' .56 sacks per game. You're damn straight I'm taking that production. I expect Burns to make plays. I expect 15 sacks a year from him. I expect him to make game changing plays like Lamar Lathon chasing down Michael Irvin from behind and snapping his collar bone. Burns doesn’t produce. Especially in crunch time. How do you not see that?
  4. Hell I much rather have prime Greg Hardy than Burns and its not even close.
  5. You put two Lamars on this D and we have a whole new team. He was and will always be the bar I measure our 5 and 7 techniques. Of course you don't know what those are.
  6. He doesn't produce. Lathon Peppers Greene Hardy Johnson Reddick were all better than Burns. He always disappears in crunch time. He's not a big time player. He just isn't. If he was Lamar Lathon I'd almost cut someone for mentioning a trade. But he isn't. I've never even seen him put a kill shot on anyone. He's soft.
  7. He doesn't produce. On the list of players we've had he's Mike Rucker 2.0
  8. So do interceptions, pass defensed and forced fumbles. I see a huge difference between Mack and Burns
  9. .7 sacks per game is below Greg Hardy production and far from being a top pass rusher. .9 will always be the number. Deacon Jones was 1.02 per game. Now that's domination.
  10. You didn't post anything but Burns from what I saw. BRB So I looked and it seems Mack had 2.5 more sacks per year which is huge by itself. But in year 2 he had 15 and year three 11. Burns has never had a double digit year.
  11. I'll check that. Off the top of my head I don't think you're accurate.
  12. So Brian Burns the guy who admitted to blowing the game Sunday. The guy that has never made a game winning play. The guy who has never taken over a game. The guy that always comes up short in big moments. That's the guy you want to hang your hat on?
  13. We only won 7 games the year after Steve left and not having hurt us in the Superbowl.
  14. He is a HOF talent who knows if he'll play long enough to be one. Players of his level don't grow on trees. Like I said he's pacing for his 3rd 2000 yd season. All our backs combined can't do that. I believe in keeping players that I wouldn't trade anyone else for. ( there's no back I would trade him for)
  15. My issue is I see the same mistake we made with Steve Smith. Unless we get a hof talent with one of those picks we lose.
  16. The guy doesn't drive the ball. From what I'm seeing he's Mac Jones 2.0
  17. Dude Frankw specifically used Cmacs race in a negative context. When in fact his race has nothing to do with how good he is. If he goes over 2k this year how many guys have done that 3 times? It can't be that many right? Terrell Davis probably Payton, Faulk and Dickerson. That's pretty good company
  18. Lol they don't get that we played the bucs and Falcons back to back. Two of the worst run Ds out there and with Bozeman our line is vastly improved.
  19. Hooker sucks. I really don't love any of the QBs coming out. Might as well take a different position and take the coastal kid in the 2nd or third.
  20. I'm open to seeing him start some games. I want Corral, a draft QB and some vet on a minimum deal. That vet could include Sam PJ or someone else. I definitely think we should see him this year.
  21. How long did Geno Smith have and look what he's doing now.
