The rams fed Faulk the ball alot in the passing game. Not just swing passes and screens. You give Cmac the 11 to 13 yrs they had and touches and he will obliterate them.

I'm 51. I watched them both in college on ESPN'S west coast late night games and in the pros. I've been a Panthers fan since it was announced that we would try to get a team. Before that I was also a big fan of our USFL bid in the early 80s. Matter of fact I even attended the exhibition games at Memorial stadium in Charlotte. (Remember that? I think Larry Csonka was part of the ownership group. I remember how big his hands felt when I shook it at the game as a kid. One of my all time favorite backs)

He's already only one receiving td behind LTs career total and only about 1k yds behind as well. If he had played this year he probably would have surpassed him this year. He's just under half as many receiving TDs as Faulk. Let's not forget that both of those guys had way better QBs than Cmac as well.

Man OP you really seem to have a grudge against Cmac. And I hate to inform you that right now he is better than LT or Faulk. Now if he retires early I will be glad to adjust that statement. But right now I wouldn't trade for either of those guys straight up for Cmac.

Don't talk to me about modern NFL BS and analytics. You can still win championships running the ball and playing defense if you choose. The man could have done 1000 1000 2 years in a row if Ron hadn't cut his touches back. That's with Baby Goat and a washed up Cam Newton. Recievers are a dime a dozen you can always find them. There have only been 3 1000 1000 guys. He's an all time talent.

No they don't. The 3 of them combined barely exceed his value. Just like all our recievers in 2015 didn't add up to one Steve Smith.

Cmac is the only player we have that has the ability to score on any play he touches the ball. Have you forgotten all the times he's broken 40 plus yd tds?

Lol he wasn't hurt that bad. He was smartly shelved in a year we weren't going to do anything. If we were a legitimate contender he would have played.

He's a HOF caliber player and one of the best weapons in the NFL. I don't like getting rid of the best players at their position in the league.

Cmac should be untouchable. Burns Brown Chinn Moton are the rest of my untouchables.

Don't let Burns play hurt. He made several big plays. Don't let any other starters play that are banged up at all. Call the wrong defense on 2 or three key plays. Choose conservative punts at the edge of fg range. Choose conservative draw plays ala John Fox on 3rd and 8. There are tons of non obvious ways to lose the game without going Philly on it.

I hope it's true. I don't want Jones. I'd rather have Taylor H or Baby Goat over no arm Jones.
