It's not cavalier but yes I do think people's lives under the age of 50 are more valuable than those over 50 and I'm over 50. That's just a fact. They have way more life ahead of them. What honestly is the quality of life for the average 85 year old in America? I'm 51. I understand I don't have that much time left. I much rather leave the twenty thirty something kids a robust economy and life than to wring my hands over a virus THAT I HAD that is 99.9% survivable. Will I distance? That's not what the article said. It says they can sometimes become more lethal. If I say they tend to become less lethal that's not an absolute. If I say viruses become less lethal as they mutate that is an absolute. Is English not your first language? Lastly all indicatotions are that Delta is less lethal.

That's true. Viruses tend to become less lethal so they can propagate. If it's super lethal it kills off hosts to quickly to spread far. A good example is Ebola being lethal and the cold not being.

It is true. The vast vast majority of people under 50. I'm over 50 experienced little to no symptoms. I'm sorry but people over 75 and into their 80s have lived a full life and the majority of them their quality of life sucks as it is. Those folks should have been isolated from the get go. For those under 50 that are fat, smoke and do drugs maybe this was a wake up call. I've had it, it sucked but wasn't the sickest I've ever been. It was the sickest I've been over a long period of time. I'm also vaccinated as a backup. But I don't care if someone decides not to get a shot. Life is a risk covid or not.

They are impacting a very small percentage of society which included myself before I got covid. For the vast majority of people covid is a cold or less.
