Now for the record I wasn't out looking to add Sam. But he's here and I don’t see any better options anywhere again outside of getting Russ or Gardner and you already said Gardner is impossible. I'm not interested in making the playoffs. I'm only interested in winning it all and I can't see anyone with the physical talent out there we could bring in.

Lol he wasn't even a prolific runner in his prime. He was nowhere near the escape artist/runner as Vick, Lamar Jackson or hell even Russell Wilson. How many times did he really break off a 40 plus yard run to the house? He was great running for 2 yards and getting a lot of 1 yard tds tho. That's true.

OMG. We all saw he could do something in the 1st 3 games of the year not only in NE but here. But we also saw how quickly he would deteriorate over the season. By the end of the year he was bouncing the ball. There's a reason he's unemployed. (Did he sign today and I'm not aware)

You can't win consistently doing what we did last year 4 and 5 yard completions unless you have Cmac or Kamara. We have a five way offensive problem. Darnold is a small part of that.

He is a 32yo career backup he has 10k career passing yards. I don't have access to PFF but I would love to see Houston's pass blocking grades, average 3rd down distance and drops.
