It's not that we've dug in on Sam it's that we realize Sam is our only hope in the foreseeable future. There are no Tom Bradys or Aaron Rodgers out there for us. None in College right now. None that might come available thru trade. I'm not looking for a guy to come in and be consistently good. That does nothing for me. Going to the playoffs every year and maybe winning only one game is the worst. I want a guy with the talent and ability to risk everything that may "One Time" his way to a Championship. Baker Mayfield is not a championship winning QB. He is Goff or Garappolo. I don't want those guys. I don't care about winning 10 games every year. It's all or nothing for me. I see nobody available that can do that. Might as well try and fix Sam. That's the only hope.

Banning should be a seldom used tool. Bad opinions and takes shouldn't be ban worthy. But there also should be a pathway to reinstatement. Most places on the net start with a one day ban and you automatically get reinstated as soon as the clock hits 24hrs Then 3 day a week 2 weeks a month a year and so on. These are just words words don't hurt anyone let the guy rant like a lunatic and revel in it.

Well Steve Young was USFL for what 3 years then 2 years in Tampa where he was considered a bust. Let me check ok I was wrong 2 years USFL then considered a bust after 4 years then went and sat behind the 2nd greatest to ever do it. Plunkett was considered a bust too.

It was never going to be a 1 year project with Sam. I don't know why nobody figured that out. From the moment we got him I figured it would take 3 years not only to fix him but fix the line. Everyone expecting him to come in this year and be Kurt Cousins was unrealistic in my opinion.
