Looking ahead to this offseason *Warning* Not for the Weak Stomach

Pickett sucks tho -
We are seeing the end of Cam's career

The point is that he won't be significantly better than they are overall especially behind this line. You should realize at this point with Teddy PJ Sam and now Cam the results are similar. This is due to A. The Line B. Brady Going forward Cam should be in the Taysom Hill Redzone role. We need to really evaluate PJ and lose. -
I don't care who takes him

Lol OK I stand corrected. One third. Comp picks, salary cap and practice squad rules I definitely need to brush up on. -

In my fantasy? Sam restructures because he is a guy that wants to succeed unlike guys that just want to collect a check. So he bets on himself like Reddick did this year. Cmac restructures to help the team get olineman because he knows that the better they are the better he plays thus not only improving future earnings off the field but also cementing his legacy in pursuit of becoming the GOAT RB and getting that gold jacket to go with his two rings. The 2 thirds come from the trade down and letting Djax walk. That's 2 thirds. Or a 2nd and a third if you think we can pull it. -

Ok can I play fantasy land??? Restructure Sam and keep him as a backup. Try to Restructure Cmac Tank And get a top 5. Trade down and get the center from Iowa around 10-12 plus a 3rd. (Not in love with QBs in draft) Try to sign djax for cheap if he walks pick up another 3rd. Try to resign Cam for dirt cheap to be Taysom Hill. Use both 3rds on OL if possible. Unless Pickett or Howell are sitting around. Profit??????? -
And a Mike. Well out recievers have to stop dropping the ball.
-
We need 3 ol and a QB and a Mike and we are set. Unfortunately we have an idiot in charge that won't use this time left in the season to evaluate Brown and Christensen. But a good center a good guard and an average LT would go far.
-
You really aren't smart are you? Brady renegotiated to free up cap room to help win championships. Who are you to say Cmac wouldn't be willing to do the same?
-
You realize contracts can be renegotiated right? How many times did Brady do it?
-
The counter to your argument is that if Cmac had the Dallas line from the 90s or the Steelers line from the Cower era he might score like Bo Jackson in Tecmo Bowl. These scrub running backs aren't able to take full advantage of the line being great when you have one.

Hasn't hurt us a bit. We've had zero chance to win the Superbowl with our front 12 the last few years.
-
Yes Davis already had bad injuries before he got here but he was a key piece for us. That guy could read a block like nobody's business.
-
If we had had Cmac in that Superbowl with Cam we win. Plain and simple we are tons better when he plays than when he doesn't and it's not even close.
-
Injuries are often just bad luck. You guys know this right?

He doesn't have one either. He has a 3-2 TD to int ratio -
Probably going to put him at TE

Dane Brugler Mock Draft 1.0 (from The Athletic)
Catsfan69 replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
That's why I say keep Gilmore. If we make a reasonable offer (for us) for Djax and he turns it down we get a 3rd for him to use on an IOL. But if we sign him cheap it's not awful. -
I'm sorry he's hurt but it helps our tank.

I just don’t think CJ has what it takes. I don't think he has a burning desire to compete. -

CJ is depth only. I don't want CJ on the outside. Our outside is Horn and Gilmore/Djax Maybe CJ at slot. Ideally it's Horn Gilmore for me but we also have no idea the long term ramifications from Horn's foot injury.
