I would rather get multiple picks for him unless we can package another 1. My goal is offensive and D line unless something unusual just falls in our lap. I'm pretty torn on the Alabama LT. Burns is talented but has always been a liability vs run and quite frankly doesn't finish plays(how many qbs have escaped his grasp over 2 years?) YGM on one side with Reddick might be a better every down combo especially when you consider the draft capital we could aquire. I wish we had kept Obada for depth.

I don't mind bringing in competition. I also don't mind a reasonable FA. But only a FA that is top 12 talent wise without top 12 contact. Russell, Watson Rogers cripple you cap wise. That's why I think we have no choice.

Injuries can often just be bad luck. It's very likely he could be traded then have 8 injury free seasons while we sit here and pine about the one who got away.

I think unless someone falls in our lap like say a Howell in 2nd or 3rd. Or a decent pro for nothing roll with Sam and either he is horrible and we get the best QB in 2023 or we make the playoffs. We can't trade him and might as well not eat dead cap.
