As much as I would love to see Eric back in a Canes uniform who the hell would we have to take off the roster in order for him to play? It's not that we couldn't offer an up and coming prospect but I'm not comfortable sitting Lorentz, Foegele, McGinn, Geekie they are all worth more tha Eric at this point.

I'd hate to trade anyone at this point. Everyone is playing well together and bringing in someone for a piece that has worked well for us might be a step back.

Svechnikov should be a more brainer I believe Necas is still in his entry level/rfa level so we wont lose him. Hamilton is the most pressing of the ones that we could lose. And as reliable and good as he is one of my big focuses is with the UPC ok making expansion draft I dont want to lose Jake Bean. Fluery I'd hate to lose but not as much as Bean. Trocheck I love his game but dont know if we will keep him. McGinn and foegele are also ones I'd like to keep but understanding we wont be able to sign everybody.

The only good thing is that Seattle can only take one then it's done. I feel we have more talent in our farm system in forward depth than defensive depth. The way Jarvis is playing and even Suzuki its gonna be no time before they get called up in a year or two. Hell I'm super impressed with Geekie when he plays now even like him more than McGinn myself.
