  1. they should purchase a mirror.... that team is a bottom 5 team without Lamar
  2. Paying 25% of your cap space to one player is a difficult pill to swallow but KC is managing it, so is BUF You can also opt the road of building a solid team / solid system and plug in a rookie QB (SF) Just depends on what route you plan to build the team
  3. I just love all the high and mighty speeches when everyone on here would do the same thing that Lamar and his agent (mother) are doing
  4. If an agent isn't doing what is in the best interest of their client then that agent will soon be the assistant manager at Home Depot I personally have no problem with these guys getting all they can get Amazon paid Goddell and his cronies $1 billion a year to broadcast shitty Thursday games
  5. $250 million check to a guy worth $15 billion is like asking you to write a check for $15 if BAL makes Lamar available it won’t be a money problem for Tepper
  6. We would need one more WR that is a burner speed, a pass catching TE and a check down RB it’s baffling that BAL never gave Lamar more than Mark Andrews
  7. I’d love to have Lamar, if you watched the Saints game you’d realize that when he’s ‘on’ there’s literally no defense that can stop him If the Ravens want to be mad, be mad at the Haslem’s who screwed up the QB pay market but if BAL flinches there’s PLENTY of Billionaires who will make Lamar a 1/4 Billionaire. He puts fans in attendance
  8. You’ve enjoyed a couple cheap shots over time, I didn’t go Karen on you then
  9. Have you read what you said about Lamar, it’s completely ludicrous
  10. Your neighbor sold his house for $450k your house is way nicer, larger, etc, in the same neighborhood, you going to accept $375k? No you’ll be demanding $500k thats what Lamar did and rightfully so, people calling him a loser/quitter shows you the lack of understanding basic economics
  11. the franchise's first offensive head coach.... what a seismic shift
  12. Lamar made a business decision not to risk his health when he has no guaranteed money anyone with a half formed mind would understand that. This is on the Ravens Just like teams ruthlessly cut players for any reason including not performing
  13. Doug Pederson- takes the worst team in the NFL to a playoff contender with a roster that is not really elite but getting the most out of his players. On top of it his team is down 27-0 and the dude makes adjustments in the second half (Rivera NEVER adjusted) and goes on to win the game with his team, yes they will be a sacrificial lamb for KC next week should they match up with them but regardless, that team has momentum going into the offseason. Kudos to Shahid Khan here, prior to this year his team had lost 29 of the last 32 games, he is in a market just slightly smaller than Charlotte and not a nationally followed team. He had just hired Urban Meyer to a reported 5 year $60 million dollar contract and he ate that because he knew he badly missed with Meyer Brandon Staley- supposed defensive guru, couldn't win last year in the win and your in sweepstakes to get into the playoffs. Comes into this season with a STACKED roster across both sides, this team was BUILT TO WIN NOW. Plays his starters in an irrelevant game, loses his #2 WR. Has a 27-0 lead and rushes with Ekeler a whopping three times in the second half. He will undoubtedly be fired and pave the way for Payton to go to LA. Our owner who is many times over wealthier than Shahid Khan stuck with a used car salesman for 3 seasons and in doing so has totally alienated the fanbase. Coaching matters Mr. Tepper, you and Nicole GTFO out of the coaching search and let football people do their job and bring this franchise the best possible coach, you and Nicole's job is to say hello to the candidates, offer them a biscotti with tea and if your executive search team says "this is the guy" then you write the biggest damn check possible to convince that person to come to the North East Transplant Exchange Capital of America known as Charlotte, NC
  14. If they loved Wilks so damn much then they shouldn't have laid down against PIT or at least tripped Mike Evans once.... He is a great motivator but a .500 coach at best, great story and all but I don't want another 3 years of Rivera Jr
  15. don't spin the narrative..... it messes things up for the anti-tanker crowd
  16. we had a chance to really right the ship and get this franchise burned so it can be rebuilt the right way (trading Moore / Burns) We aren't an attractive team for a top head coach We could have walked into this draft with a top 2 pick, the packers 1st round pick, Rams second round pick plus all the SF picks.... that ATTRACTS top tier coaching because they can put their own stamp on how the franchise will look. Imagine giving a Demeco Ryans or Ben Johnson that kind of draft capital to build an offensive or defensive juggernaut. We're not a top tier organization and will likely have at best a close to .500 record next year.... yay
  17. I have FAITH in Tepper if I were giving him $100,000 and telling him to money manage it for me I have NO FAITH in Tepper giving Tepper $7600 annually for season tickets and having him manage the organization I root for
  18. LOL @ the WayneBobby's on here offering up a 4th only for a 22 year old 3rd overall pick who looked promising when playing but got caught with injury flukes, yet rejoiced when we took a clear draft bust in Darnold for a 2nd, 4th and 6th The 49ers have both Lance and Purdy on rookie contracts, they are not in a hurry to just hand away Lance
  19. Wilks is Rivera light…. If you want to be a .567 win percentage team he’s your guy
  20. Personally Lamar is my favorite player and I don’t understand the perpetual disrespect he gets. I don’t blame him one bit not forcing himself to go out and play this weekend. The Ravens are straight garbage without him He’s worth every bit and then some over Watson. Tepper can write that fully guaranteed contract
  21. I doubt that. The Panthers really played this hand wrong, Burns has all the leverage
