  1. We were expecting a third for Cam.... once they announced this, he’ll be a FA or had for like a 5th round teams who have a more pressing need for Stafford 1) Colts 2) Saints 3) New England 4) Dolphins 5) Bears (no way DET trades him there)
  2. Stafford is not EXPONENTIALLY better than Bridgewater at this point of his career. 4 years ago, heck yea. Today.... no thanks, use that draft capital to trade with Cincy if desperate, otherwise build the team this year and go all out next year on a young QB
  3. It’s still a fact... odds aren’t in the Panthers favor to waste CMC, DJ, Robbies prime on a QB who is on the back 9 of their career
  4. How many 30+ year olds switch teams and lead them to a SB win? since the year 2000 all I’ve seen was: Manning Brad Johnson Trent Dilfer The common denominator amongst those QBs, they all rode on the backs of amazing defenses and did ‘just enough’ to get that Lombardi In short, we’re not the Ravens, Tampa or #gulp Broncos defense of those SB runs so a guy like Stafford is a bridge of continued mediocrity of 9-7 10-6, 7-9 seasons you either go for bust with Watson or use draft capital on a rookie and develop them
  5. Mack who was at the prime: Bears got Mack and a 2020 second-round round pick and a conditional 2020 fifth-round pick. Raiders get: 2019 first-round pick, 2020 first-round pick, 2020 third-round pick, 2019 sixth-round pick. A franchise QB carries more merit than a franchise DE.... If you want Watson, it'll be costly
  6. He could be had for: 8 this year first next year a player like DJ
  7. Stafford is a degree better than Bridgewater.... this won’t get us over the top
  8. I like Rivers... love his country demeanor and his tenacity to trash talk. He will go out as a gunslinger and almost beat Buffalo this year in the playoffs, he walked away from the game still able to give a year then Brees who was 2 years too late to retire and ending is an embarassment. How Rivers, Merrimen, Gates, Tomlinson, Jammer, Cromartie, Weddle could not win a SB is still baffling
  9. Remember when so many of us were like, ‘Luke didn’t even get hit in his head hard’ but yet was out nearly 5 weeks with a concussion? it’s not only high intensity impact that factors concussion but also head velocity https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/19487897/ to say Mahomes is cleared by next week is a sham of a protocol and his neurologist has as much credibility as Dr. Dre
  10. Didn’t Houston trade a player and pick as a salary dump.... it isn’t to help them compete, they’d be taking on an nba style salary purge
  11. Teddy 2021 1st and third 2022 1st I'm game
  12. If Sewell, Wilson nor Fields are there then that’s your guy
  13. The Saints are cooked in so many ways Nearly $100 million over cap a 13.5 sack guy in Hendrickson is a FA Depleted draft capital (they don’t have a bunch of picks) one of which they used a 5th rounder on Kwon Alexander who blew his achilles Michael Thomas signed for top 3 WR money and is a dink/dunk jag lattimore and ramczyk are heading into the final years of their contract so yea, CrabFest isn’t going to save this franchise. The fact they only got one SB out of this entire run is an underachievement
  14. That cesspool won’t see better times until there’s new ownership to just blow up everything there’s some franchises where ownership has held back any semblance of success: bengals jets texans probably the three worst ownership structures
