This is made me chuckl, well played sir. Great comedy skit.

I hope Fitt works his magic and we get 3-4 solid starters in this draft. Would love to see him sneak us back into the end of the first round to get a solid DL like Keion White or Isaiah Foskey, that 5th year option is a nice get for premium positions.

Lol I appreciate the snark. Different position, different factors that affect the player. I won’t try and cite some statistical study, but think most people would agree smaller players may be more susceptible to impact injury. An easy comp is Tua. I don’t wish injury on anyone, and if the cats draft Young, I will root for him just like I have been rooting for panthers qb’s since the Kerry Collins days.

Give me AR. I know some folks might poo poo, but I want the longest highest success in my game. Sure Young and Stroud are more polished and accomplished right now, but look at the coaching and surrounding cast they had……..Give me AR all day. I don’t want to see us picking #1 again for many many years. Let’s Go!

Go on record now before the hire is made Re: Sean Payton
CBird replied to GOAT's topic in Carolina Panthers
Oh man, I hope Sean Payton gets a job quick not with the Panthers. I can see him getting a bag of money from Tepper, all while screwing the Panthers for multiple draft picks for his beloved Saints, and then messing stuff up as fast as he could, then taking the money and running. -

Really like DT Jalen Carter. Imagine him and Brown in the middle. Also really like RB Charbonnet, S JL Skinner -

Give me Will Anderson or Jalen Carter all day. Save some picks and trade the farm for Drake May -
Next level analysis, Rhule is playing chess, given he likely knows he is out of his league at this point. He is on contract for tens of millions more dollars. It stands to reason, given his go to comments “I can go to another college program and make more money”, that maybe he is angling to get fired without cause enough to void his guarantees in his contract. Media and fan outrage are an embarrassment but likely no real grounds to void the guarantees in his contract. Rhule knows at some point he can get it to the point of no return and Tepper will have to act. This will be at the end of next season when we have totally tanked, and we have better draft capital and likely much less competition from other NFL teams for top coaching talent. At that point Tepper pulls the trigger and Rhule maximizes his earnings from the Panthers and likely goes back to the college realm, essentially double dipping getting paid as an NFL coach on guarantees that were bought out and a multi-million dollar college salary from a mid major or lower tier Power 5 school. As Denzel said in training day, “Boom, checkmate!”……

Are fans the only ones screaming for Rhule's head/firing?

Mr. Scott Rhule is under contract for good money. Honestly you think he can coach and lead well enough, even if he tried for 2022 to not be poo? -

Straight talk, painful, but keep Rhule for another year. Build the O line in the draft. Next year is a write off, play Darnold, let Cam walk,.......#1 overall pick in 2023.....QB young out of Bama, and hire Bienemy or another offensive minded coach to turn this thing around -
Bucs have been better in D, and the first half the O got gifted 7 points, and another possession due to penalty reversing a turnover. 14 point swing in the first might change the complexion of the game second half. Regardless, I think I agree bucs playing too good tonight.
-
Straight up first half ref’s fixed this to favor the bucs. So far second half looks like the Chiefs don’t the ability to overcome it. Bucs are more physical and will bleed the clock out, while the Chiefs will press and make more mistakes.
