  1. The fix is in, lads. That's the second absolute bullshit flag on us in the first Q.
  2. I'm looking at WR, TE, DE in the first round with where we're picking.
  3. He was unbelievable in that Joker / Star position playing close to the line and using his athleticism to blitz / cover short routes. I think Snow / Rhule stumbled across it - dude was playing at an All Pro level there - but they were determined to turn him into a S. Part of the reason Rhule was fired, just mismanagement of talent. Alas Holcombe is asking Chinn to cover their #2 WR down the field - hopefully that gets him fired too.
  4. Technically he wasn't caught from behind, but he didn't outrun any angles, which we thought he was all about.
  5. The threat of his legs opening up the defence. He's the complete dual-threat QB.
  6. A big part of the reason we lost against Pitt is because we had 2 CBs injured and our 4th CB couldn't cover anyone. CBs are hugely important too.
  7. No, I was at the Cardinals game, which is approximately 4k miles from my house. Why do you ask?
  8. It happens whenever a 'big' team comes to town, regardless of how well the Panthers are doing. PSLs are clearly just seen as investments by a large portion of our fanbase. Home field advantage is a myth in Charlotte.
  9. Well yeah, cos Horn is an elite CB. Taylor is a press-man CB - why ask your 4th CB to do anything that he's not good at?
  10. He doesn't have the personnel to ask Taylor and Horn to play press-man coverage rather than 8-10 yards off in a soft zone?
  11. Basically. He doesn't have the coaching acumen to make in-game adjustments.
  12. Yeah that 9 minute drive where they actually gained about 110 yards (with penalties) was the back breaker.
  13. Basically the inverse of what happened in Seattle the week prior. The reason Wilks shouldn't get the HC job full time is because he has zero idea what to do to counter the Steelers. Any HC can win when their players are dominating the trenches.
  14. See I disagree with this. I'm not the biggest Burns fan and I was disgusted that we turned down an absolute haul for him, but he definitely gets timely sacks. The problem with Burns is that he doesn't impact the game outside of that. The guys on the list above are problems on every down. Burns disappears for large stretches of the game, then comes up with a big TFL / Sack to remind you that he's been on the field this whole time.
  15. I'm not sure he did under throw it - the S was coming across. Either way with how bad QB play has been for years in Charlotte I was just happy with the long completion. I wish Marshall had made that contested catch later in the game too - it turned 7 points into 3.
  16. Pitts has always been just a big WR.
  17. Richardson will overthrow the fence.
  18. Nah I'm not sold on that guy at all. I'd much prefer Young, but he's far too small for me to sell the farm for him.
  19. We could honestly do a lot worse than picking a mismatch TE in the first round. Someone that can run past LBs and go up above S. Ideally someone that can block too. It would really open up our offence.
