Wow, what a clusterfug.

Tagovailoa suffered a dislocated hip with a posterior wall fracture (along with a broken nose and concussion) in the game against Mississippi State.

If Young falls to our pick at #19 I'm all for it. I'm not trading up for a 5'10", 170lb QB though. Sorry.
-
I suspect he's 5'10" too.

Damn, if she's shagging Antonio Brown she's got a screw loose.
-
Damn, the goalposts keep shifting. If the dude wins the division from 1-5 he'll be retained. We embarrassed the Seahawks on the road and the Lions at home in a manner we've not done to anyone since 2015. I'm not even a fan of Wilks, but he'll get the job if the next 2 weeks go to plan.

Means we get to hang a banner at least.

Shaq Thompson shedding some light about Rhule and Wilks.
OldhamA replied to Ivan The Awesome's topic in Carolina Panthers
I wonder if his teammates got sick of the fact that he was constantly on the sidelines? Also the former DMVP has to be Kuechly, right? He was around the building for a year or so under Rhule's tenure. -
I think you've seen that in this run - he's throwing the ball away more when nothing is on, or taking the sack when he's instantly pressured. In the past he'd try to make a hero play.

Baldy Breakdowns on Panthers physical o-line and run game
OldhamA replied to Saca312's topic in Carolina Panthers
The default defence in the NFL now is Nickel. It's why teams like the Titans are successful - and why we've been successful recently, defences simply aren't built to stop teams that make a big commitment to the run. Funnily enough our defence isn't built to stop the run either, but our OLine is absolutely a run-first unit. The problem with it is that obviously everything has to go right - if you get off schedule (i.e. go behind by a couple of scores) you're in big trouble. -
Well so far Jones looks overawed by the NFL and Fields has been poor (with the occasional flash of brilliance) and is getting more and more banged up. I'm all for going after your Franchise QB in the Draft, I'm not interested in taking whichever one is left at your pick just because.

There's no maybe about it. I'm more curious to know what would have happened if Darnold didn't sprain his ankle in pre-season.
-
Have you genuinely seen Richardson play QB? He's such a massive project - Allen is a unicorn, don't bank on it happening again.
-
19th in PPG right now. I'm not saying he's a savant, but I think he's doing an ok job with the tools at his disposal. Especially since Darnold came back.
-
The same OC that's just put up a franchise record for yards in a game?
-
I take it back, his legs have absolutely gone. He can't evade anyone anymore.
-
Watson is running him close, but yeah I don't know how you explain this drop off.
-
Protect the Panthers from Darnold by cutting Mayfield and benching Walker. Seems legit.
-
Absolutely not - he needs to remain calm in the pocket. The gunslinger attitude is part of the reason why he was throwing so many INTs.
-
If you're asking your QB to pass more when you're running for over 300 yards then you're a moronic OC. Since coming off IR Darnold has done everything asked of him to a high level. I genuinely don't know what more some fans want - the bar is, apparently 'subterranean' for him... so maybe enjoy the fact that he's thrown for 800 yards and scored 6 TDs without a single turnover in the last 4 games, eh? Or does the hatred for him run so deep that certain fans can't even be pleasantly surprised at his ability to manage games and play within the confines of the system?

He looks composed af - e.g. the little point to the sideline after the huge Moore pass, acknowledging that someone either called a great play or gave him a tip on what to look out for on the play call. In previous years he's always looked nervous when on the field.
