I think you've seen that in this run - he's throwing the ball away more when nothing is on, or taking the sack when he's instantly pressured. In the past he'd try to make a hero play.

The default defence in the NFL now is Nickel. It's why teams like the Titans are successful - and why we've been successful recently, defences simply aren't built to stop teams that make a big commitment to the run. Funnily enough our defence isn't built to stop the run either, but our OLine is absolutely a run-first unit. The problem with it is that obviously everything has to go right - if you get off schedule (i.e. go behind by a couple of scores) you're in big trouble.

Well so far Jones looks overawed by the NFL and Fields has been poor (with the occasional flash of brilliance) and is getting more and more banged up. I'm all for going after your Franchise QB in the Draft, I'm not interested in taking whichever one is left at your pick just because.

Have you genuinely seen Richardson play QB? He's such a massive project - Allen is a unicorn, don't bank on it happening again.
