Yep, Purdy is throwing to a HoF TE and handing off to a HoF RB. Don't get me wrong he's completely exceeding expectations, but the media is blowing up this story far too much. -
Even the Mahomes and Allen comparisons don't work because both were benched / shocking as rookies. You need someone behind C for next year regardless.

I'm not even a fan of Wilks, but you would absolutely have to give him the job if he took this team to the Playoffs. I'm doubt it's the right call long-term, but the optics would be horrendous if you didn't.

If Wilks takes this team to the Playoffs I don't know how you say "Gee thanks, Steve, now he's your P45" if you're Tepper. Not when your franchise has been a laughing stock for years.

I know Sullivan is our 3rd TE, but when Darnold escapes pressure, rolls out and throws a dime that hits you right between the numbers that you drop, I don't know how people can say "darn, if only we had a QB".

An elite QB, sure, but I don't see what Darnold did wrong today. You can win a lot of games with a QB that doesn't turn the ball over. We need a starting DE, a starting TE and a starting WR something fierce.

The problem you have is that the NFL has moved on. We dominated the lines of scrimmage and time of possession today and only won by a TD. You literally have zero room for error playing how Wilks likes.

Go check out his Miami highlights. He used to be the Gunner for us on STs (as well as the starting RB, obvs). Dude is quick in a straight line.

The drills in Madden are actually pretty good, to be honest - they explain what plays work against what coverages. You're doing the game a disservice.

Well Parsons isn't a MLB. He's another Von Miller - a pass rusher in a 4-3 playing at LB.
