If he's sitting a year behind Corral he's not your guy.

I think Corbett tore his ACL. Oh, was it Christensen that broke his leg? My bad.

I've never been to Baltimore, but Charlotte is the most milquetoast American city I've been to. I spat my drink out when Steve Smith said as such on his podcast recently, paraphrasing "you'd better be ready to ante-up for Playoff tickets because there's not much else going on in Charlotte".
-
How bad was his injury again? He broke his leg / ankle, right?
-
Woah, woah, woah - the only time you should mention Mallory and Olsen in the same breath is when you're referencing that they went to the same university.
-
Ginn took the top off of defences - something we've never replaced.

Reich seems to inspire an insane amount of loyalty. Sirianni went off on one with the media when the Eagles beat the Colts this year.
-
He doesn't have anywhere near the same arm talent. Like, at all. I think he's probably the best QB in this Draft, albeit he's tiny, but you can't go throwing comparisons like that out there.
-
What, you're saying you don't enjoy the dead air when Smith makes a great point and the co-host just sits there gawping?
-
I feel very strongly about this... Derek Carr.

Reich tried to trade for him in 3 consecutive years in Indianapolis, so I'd expect so. -
THE ATHLETIC: Potential cap casualties….

He's basically not bad at blocking in space / on the move. The rest of his game isn't NFL standard - that extension was crazy. -
Mr Irrelevant has come in and the 49ers offence hasn't missed a beat. If that's not a damning indictment of Garoppolo I don't know what is. I'm fine with spending our Draft picks on non-QBs if we bring in Carr on a reasonable 3 year deal. But then I'm not in the "QB or bust for the Draft" think tank.

I obviously didn't watch his National Signing Day press conference, but he did pop up on my YouTube feed in a sit-down podcast interview somewhere. From the thumbnail alone I can tell that he's blown up again - he's clearly back on that relentless recruiting grind and isn't taking care of his health.

Rebooting? I thought a big part of why Reich got the job was because he'd already vetted his staff?

The QB School : Breaking down AR and Levis

Taking a guy with a 54% career pass completion percentage is... bold. That said I'd prefer that at #9 than trading multiple first round picks to move up for Stroud / Young. -
Scott Fitterer.... let's grade his drafts and FA signings

Darnold getting smashed by immediate pressure through the A gap affected his ability to get into rhythm. Arnold is a TE2 / 3 on a good team. -

We picked up a good starting LT who has the potential to be a franchise LT. Smith, Barno and Mayes have all flashed / contributed. It was not a bad draft at all. -
I would sit tight at #9 and see who fell. Young is the best QB in this Draft, but he's tiny so you can't bet the farm on him. There wasn't a franchise QB in the 2022 Draft - there might not have even been a good starter.
-
Ah we're going for the literal strawman. I guess my time here in this thread is over because you're acting like children.
-
Who dismissed his film? We're talking about trading the farm for a QB prospect here. If everything doesn't line up, why the hell are you trading so much for him? He's never won the big game and he play on a STACKED team with multiple first round picks at WR. It's a huge concern - beyond anything you see on film about his ability to progress through his reads and his unwillingness to scramble.
-
There's 4 very good videos on the Draft section of the board that breaks down the top 4 QB prospects. That's their big concern about Stroud.
-
My feelings are fine, thanks. I'm just interested in having civil discourse. I think Darnold can hold down a starting job until you find someone better - that's always been my stance.
-
He literally stopped scoring points in the 4Q. He couldn't seal the deal. It is what it is - a lot of you are convincing yourselves that Stroud is THE ONE so I'm talking to a brick wall at this point.
-
How have you jumped to that conclusion?
