  1. I mean 5 minutes ago that was the sole reason we were picking Young.
  2. It's all over his College tape. Also I've no idea why people have to be such dicks on here - grow the fug up.
  3. He was arguably a better QB this year - had better stats.
  4. Their jobs literally depend on it - I just hope they've not fallen in love with the off-the-field stuff when the on-the-field stuff is what's most important. Everyone in that Front Office is fired in two years if they get this pick wrong.
  5. I do feel like I'm taking crazy pills. Whenever I watch Young play I see a very limited athlete playing behind a stellar OLine. Don't get me wrong, he's a fun player to watch in College, but I just see another Manziel / Mayfield - a small dude with an average NFL arm who's been allowed to play backyard football behind a wall.
  6. I still hope this is all speculation and Fitterer stays true to his word that they're not going to discuss the QB until they all come together next week. With regards to an extra weapon - fug that, if they're going to risk their careers with Young you need to build an absolute wall in front of him. Dude does not handle pressure from NFL athletes well AT ALL.
  7. Both Mannings threw ugly footballs.
  8. Agree to disagree on that one, bud. Stroud has Brady's arm (after a few years of NFL S&C). Young is a notch below.
  9. Ban this person - nobody should be forced to watch full Gators games.
  10. Richardson has better arm mechanics than Newton ever did. Newton was obviously a better player in College (partly because he was a run-first QB). Who knows who the better NFL QB will be.
  11. Superior arm strength to who?!
  12. At the end of the day, sadly it's their franchise to run into the ground.
  13. It's a question they both have to answer - how good are they when the playing field is more even. 9.5 times out of 10 they had the better players when they stepped on the field. Did they elevate the play of those around them, or were they carried?
  14. 2022 Stats: Bryce Young - 3,328 yards, 32 TDs, 5 INTs CJ Stroud - 3,688 yards, 41 TDs, 6 INTs (and a higher completion %, if you're into that kind of thing) With regards to the supporting class: WR: Jermaine Burton - 4*, 99th overall recruit in Class of 2020 WR: Jacorey Brooks - 4*, 52nd overall recruit in Class of 2021 WR: Kobe Prentice - 4*, 85th overall recruit in Class of 2022 WR: Traeshon Holden - 4*, 263rd overall recruit in Class of 2020 RB: Jahmyr Gibbs - 4*, 178th overall recruit in Class of 2020 RB: Jase McClellan - 4*, 41st overall recruit in Class of 2020 Don't tell me he's playing with absolute bums. That roster is fuging stacked.
  15. I'm convinced Levis will be a bust. He was beyond awful this year.
  16. Does that account for Stroud's stats being significantly better than Young's this year?
  17. If you factor in both sides of the ball there's 1 - Georgia. If you're just talking offence there's 2 - Georgia and Ohio St. Everyone else is playing for 4th place and is some way behind.
  18. Newton was a run-first QB in college. That carried over to the NFL. Richardson looks to pass first.
  19. Same, but in reverse - being able to mentally run an NFL offence means nothing if you can't physically run it.
  20. The #1 pick we've mortgaged our future for? I'd say it's a pretty big deal.
  21. As I've repeatedly said, he's going to get GMs fired. Evidently Fitterer is one of them.
  22. You're wasted here if you can tell all of that from an interview.
