There's a picture of them stood next to each other - Brees has a clear 2 inches on him. So not only is he bigger, but he's more athletic - and he had a RIDICULOUSLY accurate arm. All throughout the Draft process I was telling people that Young's only path to success was to be Brees-lite - the problem is he's shown already that half of the throws an NFL QB needs to make are off the table for him. For everyone saying he's got 2-3 years to prove it - if we get a new GM (and I hope to god a new HC) I think he's literally fighting for his NFL life now. He doesn't look like he even belongs out there 90% of the time.

Bingo - he was a cocky little poo coming into the Draft (some would say confident). He's been massively humbled in the last five months - it's clear that he's absolutely overawed by the speed and athleticism of NFL athletes 'cos he's hesitant to pull the trigger on anything that approaches an NFL throw. I think it's only going one way - I hope he banked his signing bonus.

Honestly, there are no 'core' players on this roster. There are some good ones: Brown, Burns*, Chinn*, Horn (if he can stay healthy), Luvu*, Ekwonu, Corbett, Moton, Bozeman, Thielan. However, there aren't enough to build around - and there's no exceptional talents (I think Horn could be, Ekwonu could be an All-Pro OG). We need a new GM to come in with a plan, strip this roster down to the nuts and bolts and start again. *if put in the right situations

You can't say that when Scott Fitterer is an NFL GM.

I want a GM willing to make that call.

He's really not - we're going 0-17.

Trapasso: Young's first few starts are concerning

Which, again, is what I said during the Draft process. I haven't watched a whole lot of Caleb Williams, but from the plays I have seen from the highlights my "that won't work in the NFL" spider-sense tingles. -
What would you give up to draft Marvin Harrison Jr.

The brass balls sculpture that sits on Tepper's desk. Sadly we traded all our other resources away. -

But I thought he was a galaxy brained QB who was explaining blocking protections to his OLine in the preseason? What gives? -
I'm fine with the coaching staff. They were going after a milestone for Chaney - stupid, in hindsight, but if the refs officiate the game correctly then we're not talking about it. It's there in 4K that he's down - the refs have shafted us, as they tried to do all game. My big concern from tonight is the 3 horrendous INTs (could easily have been 4) that TVD threw. We won't beat UNC with him playing that badly, so we're out of the ACC Championship race now.
-
Except they didn't fumble it - Chaney was CLEARLY down. Bent *****.
-
Did I mention I hate the ACC? These refs were determined to decide this game and they have. fuging disgusting.
-
Why are you such a hateful person?
-
It's very wet and the refs apparently have bet on GT.
-
ACC refs, man.
-
No thank you, the Canes aren't ready for that.

They share an office, right?

Texas A&M lost half of their offence when Weigman went down.
-
They're relying on others to mess up now.
-
They don't have a consistent answer for Lebby's play calling. They can obviously score in a hurry themselves, but once that Oklahoma O gets rolling on a drive and starts going at warp speed they just march down the field.

I'm a Canes fan and you've just made a mortal enemy.
