  1. Jesus Christ, these NFL Front Offices are leakier than a sieve.
  2. That's the problem - it's a massive gamble. He looks good, but not sensational on the film we have of him - which will be 18 months ago by the time he's drafted. He's very raw, with promise. Absolutely not opposed to drafting him. Terrified of drafting him with #8 overall. My jaw would hit the floor if we traded future first round picks to draft him. He's nothing like Mahomes - doesn't have the arm, the playmaking ability, the innate understanding of the offence etc etc. People talk about how you can't compare players to Brady - fine, I guess. Mahomes is that same freak 'one in a million' player too. Not quite sure what the NCAA comment was in reference to.
  3. What's Kyle Allen's role then? They have Smith and Allen under contract, no? Are they going to cut Smith and run with Heinicke / Allen?!
  4. I really don't get it with Lance. As I said, I was curious about him after his 2019 season, but the tape doesn't blow you away. Why didn't he transfer to a college that was playing football in 2020? I'm sure the NCAA would have waived the need to sit out.
  5. I'm way past the point now with Brady where I respect him as the best QB of all time, but I'm hoping Father Time catches up with him and an angry DT drops him on his head.
  6. It's not a foolproof formula - although Herbert and Hurt ticked all seven boxes last year. I don't think any QB ticks all those boxes this year. I think Wilson and Lawrence would be closest, if they graduated (obvs neither is a Senior).
  7. Be a three-year starter Be a senior in college Graduate from college Start 30 games Win 23 games Post a 2-1 touchdown-to-interception ratio Complete at least 60 percent of passes thrown Source
  8. I wouldn't trade for either, but if the cost for Watson is three firsts+ and the cost for Lance is two firsts and a second it's a no brainer. Take the proven commodity.
  9. I was interested in Lance, then he missed the entire season. He'd quite frankly be off my Draft board until the second round - he's too much of an unknown commodity.
  10. After Lawrence they're all second tier "shot in the the dark" QBs.
  11. That's the problem with the Watson stuff. He wanted a say in the coaching staff. The flood gates are open now.
  12. I love how Brady isn't in your Top 4 QBs. Dude has won SEVEN Super Bowls. SEVEN.
  13. Bingo. He's under team control for two more years on a very favourable contract and you KNOW he can start in the NFL. You'd have to blow them away with an offer.
  14. Chinn hit the rookie wall right at the end of the season - he had a poor game against Washington. I questioned whether he was carrying an injury as he just looked 'off'. He's an absolute tone setter though and is a corner piece of this defence - to stand out THAT much as a rookie says something. He was sensational at times, the best player on defence.
  15. Stafford is a guaranteed elite QB with 4+ years left. You're improving the short term without sacrificing the long term. Any trade up for a QB sacrifices your ability to surround him with elite talent (unless Fitterer is an exceptional drafter).
  16. I'm actually very happy with Brown. War Daddy DTs are harder to find than DEs.
  17. It's crazy how people can continue to question Brady. He's won SEVEN Super Bowls. We might never win one. He's significantly better than Watson - thats just the facts of the matter.
  18. Out of shape British guys in their 60s ruled the world at one point.
  19. Put it this way - I think you build in the trenches, but I'd rather have Chinn than Young.
  20. Jeez, where's the flag? He was sliding.
  21. I hope Brady retires after this - I was done with him several years ago.
  22. Apparently he spent $7m of his own money on this. Dude knows spectacle, but he can't sing.
  23. Your boy Breeland is having a mare.
  24. Makes no sense for them to fix the game - Mahomes is their next QB superstar and he's like 25. Brady is on his way out.
