Because....? I mean, beyond cutting your hero.
-
I say we throw a Draft pick Tampa's way for Jose Borregales.
-
Would we trade Darnold and Horn for Fields? We already know the answer to that. At the end of the day you have to either trust in the HC / GM or go find another team to support because Rhule and Fitterer will be here for a while.
-
It's just lazy, but sadly that's the state of journalism these days.
-
Yeah that reeks of "small market team, gotta rank 'em somewhere and somebody's gotta make up the numbers" rating there. We're better than 30 overall on talent, but I'll just let our players do their talking on the field rather than pointlessly debating it.

We had Rivera and Hurney in 2019.
-
What, you want them to pump out that it's all sunshine and unicorns? Rivera and Hurney left us with a wreck of a roster... and then Luke Kuechly retired. Rhule (and Fitterer this year) has added a TON of quality depth to the team. It's a 53 man roster - with the best will in the world, you can't turn over that team in two off-seasons, and that's IF you hit on all of your FA acquisitions and Draft picks, which never happens. We were competitive last year, I expect us to be more competitive this year - albeit a lot of that rests on Darnold's shoulders - and I expect Playoffs (or at least a Playoffs number of wins) in 2022 if the trend continues.

What does CJ Saunders hype mean for WR depth chart?

It means it's an open competition, as it always should be, and the best man (or the most versatile man potentially, when dealing with the bottom of the roster) will win. -
X is good, right? Like sick and bad are good? I'm not as down with the kids as I used to be.
-
We're a better team than we were in 2020. I think Playoffs is a stretch for us this year, but it's not out of the realms of possibility. If we got there it'd be on the back of McCaffrey and Darnold (he'd have to turn into what the Jets thought they were drafting, which is entirely feasible with good coaching). I truly believe in the coaching of the Panthers and I'm starting to see a competent NFL roster being assembled, but as the Panthers in-house media themselves say - we're still 2-5 years away from having a perennial Playoff roster like the Ravens / Colts.

Is ANY thread safe from a dig at Darnold?!
-
Genuinely the best player to ever suit up for us, but yeah he seems like a dick off the field (and he's a shocking analyst).

Jets Carl Lawson carted off the field today.

How many tables were flipped in JETS HQ yesterday? They must feel cursed. -
It's not for me, but it's not aimed at me. If it motivates the team in some way then cool. I'm sure it'll disappear if the locker room OGs feed back that it's too Bush League.

Yep, they should leave it as WTF at this point. -
Yes, I think he makes the team this year.
-
I wouldn't be surprised if they're looking for LB help.
-
Shitting on Darnold again out of nowhere? Oh wee mayne, indeed.

I don't know how that's physically possible. -

Pretty sure that was Joseph Goebbels. -

The blind faith comes from the fact that he turned Temple and Baylor around from 'dumpster fires' (to use an Americanism) to 10+ win programmes in 3 seasons. He was poached from both jobs so he never had time to settle into a 4 / 5+ year recruiting cycle, which is what you need in College to change the system. He got the most out of the players he had, he recruited well (identified talent) and he developed them well. All three of those skills are transferable and are currently being evidenced in the NFL. Those aren't premium Colleges - they're afterthoughts in their conferences. They aren't MEANT to beat ranked teams. What he achieved at both Colleges was sensational. He's transformed this team in a season - it's night and day to watching a Rivera team sleepwalk through games. -

Two stellar Drafts in I'd suggest he's handling that Draft order quite well, no? Rhule is the king of this organisation. -

They fail because they struggle to relate with / motivate millionaire athletes. They don't fail because they don't know how to lead a programme / organisation. -

He was the Head Coach of TWO College programmes for SEVEN years. Where is this 'green' nonsense coming from?
