I have no problems with our offence right now. They've dialed up two plays for him where he's catching it on crossers / drags. That's where we have Moore / Marshall et al. I still think we need a big boi RedZone TE threat. Arnold wasn't that.
-
The Jags are loving Arnold right now. 2 catches already and clearly dialing up plays for him. Think he'll thrive there.

I fell for the introductory press conference speech with Al Golden. Never again. He won me over about 3 games into last year - it was clear we were a very well coached team that amounted to more than the sum of its parts AND he'd crushed the Draft. I was all in then.

I wouldn't be surprised if he's inactive.

No Respect for the Panthers - What Cowboys Fans are Saying
OldhamA replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
You can't really blame them for being cocky, the media are blowing smoke up their arses. Even Rich Eisen, who's usually pretty even handed, has turned this into a "man the Cowboys are legit and this is the game to show it in" story. I think it'll be a close game - we'll see where we are on our journey (and how we respond to Horn and McCaffrey being out). Even if we lose we're still 3-1 in the first quarter of the season - I'd always take that. -
If you asked Darnold and he was honest - which he isn't going to be 'cos he doesn't air grievances - I wouldn't be surprised if this was the first time he's received actual coaching. If you look at how much his accuracy and footwork has improved in 3 months with Sean Ryan it's pretty evident that he was getting by on minimal coaching and talent whilst at USC and the NYJ. He just seems incredibly coachable - or as you anime nerds would say:

He's breaking down the pass rush tomorrow (or Friday) - but yeah in the meantime enjoy.

My analysis of C.J. Henderson and body language.

I only care about his body language on the field. -
Is this the best Panthers pass rush in franchise history?
OldhamA replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
As individual talents, no. As a unit, quite possibly. We'll see what happens when teams start adjusting to what we're doing as a scheme (we're stressing protections). -
Jeez. If this is as good as he gets I'm happy.

Horn, DJax, Bouye, CJ Henderson, Chinn, Burris

This obsession with moving CBs to S is baffling. -

Oh there's a big drop off to Melvin. The pass rush masks some of it, but Horn is elite. Melvin is serviceable. -
'Ooh wee mayne' would certainly have been uttered if Fields had looked remotely competent.

I maintain that anyone who saw those two play knew it was fool's gold. This is different.

As opposed to what, the Red Wolves?
-
I think they should lean into it - it's actually a pretty cool name.

No, you're not doing it right. Until he gets 20 INTs he won't have been worth the capital we gave up for him.
-
Do you reckon we're going to get the whole song and dance we got with Darnold for Henderson? Y'know where he drew that picture of the logo, ate southern food with Kristen etc etc. Or is that kind of stuff reserved for the 'face of the franchise'? I'd be very curious to know how bought in Henderson is!

Just watched the highlights of the Jags - Broncos game. Henderson gave up a TD to Patrick and never returned to the game. He was listed as out with an 'illness' and a 'minor groin injury' for Week 3. He was absolutely loafing on the highlights though - clearly didn't want to be there and was quite clearly benched. Rhule has a major rebuild on his hands here - the talent is there, but he's going to have to get inside the kid's head and flip a switch.
-
Analytics have changed the game. That was a super aggressive play call on 4th and goal when the previous 3 plays had been poo. I'd have kicked the FG.

Hurts is so inaccurate. Minshew gives you a better chance to win - especially if you're going to run as little as this.

Saban remains a personality and charisma vacuum. What a charmless man.
