  1. What do you mean, what happened? Once he realised he'd have to carry the load for an extended time here his performances fell off a cliff.
  2. It's more the fact Bridgewater had to actively get out of the way that's the problem. Nobody is expecting him to try to chase down a defensive player.
  3. Ah, at least there's one other sane poster on this board.
  4. I'm sure Vance Joseph lost sleep game planning for PJ Walker last week.
  5. Paradis has never looked good as a Panther. I thought they'd signed Elflein as a C - I'm glad he's finally fallen into that role. He's not big enough to be a G.
  6. I mean they were missing their best player - an actual franchise QB. They're a different kettle of fish entirely when he's active. He covers up a lot of Kingsbury's poo play calling by routinely pulling magic out of his arse. Love that we won - love the manner in which we won, but yeah, let's not crown ourselves just yet.
  7. Yeah - you don't hand the ball off to a RB's chest. You put it in their stomach. It bounced off Hubbard's shoulder pads.
  8. McCaffrey coming back and carrying the load has made a massive difference - the amount of 1 yard carries he turns into 5+ yard gains is jaw dropping. Not to mention he's just open on option routes - Walker was staring him down all night 'cos he knew McCaffrey was eventually going to roast whatever poor soul they asked to cover him. The second big difference was playing Elflein at his natural position. Suddenly the iOL looked serviceable because the C wasn't a traffic cone.
  9. Hi, I'm here. He scored no TDs and turned the ball over twice and still won. Congrats to him - he's not a starting NFL QB.
  10. Oh yes. All those HB option routes and WR slants. Really dove deep into the playbook for PJ Walker.
  11. He broke his shoulder blade and the OLine is abysmal. Why would you not just shut him down for the season?
  12. Watching Walker run with the firsts for a week.
  13. Tell me you have the emotional maturity of a 5 year old without saying it. It's a different opinion to yours - deal with it.
  14. I wish someone would do me wrong to the tune of $120m.
  15. This is a bad QB draft. I'd probably trade down in the first round to pick up that 2nd rounder we traded away - unless we're in love with whoever is available at our pick. We need to bring in competent starting NFL players along our iOL - at least two. That will make a world of difference. Whether that's via FA or the Draft I don't care.
  16. What's your definition of a Franchise QB? Cos I think mine is different to most. Right now there's less than 10 Franchise QBs in the league. Chasing that group leads to drafting bust after bust. Fix the OLine, find a good starter and build a balanced offence that complements what he does well.
  17. Honestly I think some of you need a life-sized Cam Newton sex doll at this point.
  18. He's got another 5 years to figure that out. My point was it's a silly standard to hold THIS HC to when I'd consider every other HC we've had a failure. None of them could build sustained success here (the SB seasons were flashes in the pan) - this guy might and is trending in the right direction to do so.
  19. Every HC we have had has also failed to record back-to-back winning seasons.
  20. We're 4-5 year 2 into a complete rebuild with a fantastic defence (that Rhule [and Snow] have build from scratch). We have weapons on O, we need an OLine. The lack of patience from this awful fanbase is hilarious.
  21. I've stopped commenting as much here because it's just become a toxic place to browse. The idea that spending a 2nd round pick on Darnold was 'mortgaging our future' and 'a complete disaster' is absurd. CB wasn't a luxury - it's disingenuous to call it that after the fact to fit a narrative you're trying to build. We couldn't get off the field on third downs last year - now we can. As for the rebuild - at the moment we're stacking the roster with good players. They've fuged up at OC and OLine, which is why we're currently 4-5. That can be fixed in the offseason. Some of you really don't understand what an absolute mess Hurney (and Gettleman) and Rivera left this roster in - you look around the league and see quick turnarounds and try to apply that logic here. Rivera was here for a decade and Hurney / Gettleman missed on WAY too many Draft picks for this to be anything but a complete roster overhaul.
