Round 1: The Carolina Panthers select OT Monroe Freeling (Georgia)

Well we refuse to try and improve QB, so I'm ok with taking high ceiling projects. -
Ponds and Terrell.

Oh he absolutely is. He'll get murdered with his current technique in the NFL. -

Honestly? 'Cos he's a project. Go watch his cut ups - he's on the floor and lunging a lot. He's winning on pure athleticism. Sky is the limit, but he really needs to be brought along slowly and have his technique completely reworked. Thankfully we have a good OLine coach. -

What holes does this team have besides QB? Morgan and co have raised the floor in the last couple of years. Yes you could improve every position, but we don't have replacement level guys starting anymore. -

He played LT for Georgia all of last year... -

Getting a year ahead of the problem is how the Ravens / Steelers et al remain perennially good. Some sources are saying he was the top OT available, or OT2 at worst. We just have to be patient because he needs a lot of coaching. -

When you watch his tape, you really have to overlook how raw he is to fall in love with him. I guess they thought that we have a good OLine coach and they're handing him a lump of clay. Crazy athlete, but man his tape isn't the prettiest. Has a lot to learn, technique wise. -

Bryce Young has already been weighed, measured and found wanting. -
BOLD TAKE: Panthers will draft Jacob Rodriguez @19

Significant is a stretch. A little faster, same weight, 1 inch difference in height, much shorter arms. -

Once again he fails to mention the elephant in the room. Also he's incredibly disrespectful to Coker. It ain't just T-Mac and a bunch of scrubs in that room. -
Dan Morgan Pre-Draft press conference

It made sense for them to start planning for the future after year 2. We're now in year 4 and apparently committing to him for year 5. Baffling. -

Character concerns with Bain?! Pull the other one. -

I mean you could change it... -
The defence is not stacked.

You missed out the part where Coker was given an opportunity due to the lack of talent on our team and grasped it with both hands. He's clearly a very good WR.

If your wife flew off to an adults only resort with a wealthy man and was pictured lounging in a hot tub with him, holding hands and hugging you'd be more than a bit worried.

Stopped reading at Mauigoa being a Guard. Tell that to all of the DEs he buried in College. -

"The jury is out on Bryce Young" as he lists his godawful stats. -
Safety makes perfect sense if he's a great one. We've made do with scrubs at that position for far too long.
