    We've vastly improved 2 of the front 7 with Phillips and Lloyd. We're hopeful that Hunter makes it 3 of the front 7. You've also got the natural improvement of Scourton, Princeley and Jackson who are all entering their second year in the league. It's still short of where it needs to be, but progress is being made.

    How many of those teams are better than the Rams and the Packers? I think we're more talented this year than we were last year. I'm not saying we're going to sweep all that comes before us, but I think a 6-11 projection underestimates the roster rebuild job that's going on here.

    They have end-of-season physicals and they're, essentially, owned by the team. Sure this could be an issue they picked up in January and he refused the surgery then, but the small print of his contract would also oblige the team not to pay him. I don't think we're stupid enough to let him holistically heal a neck injury, so this is almost certainly a new one.

    First impression - I'm better at basketball than all these guys, and I've barely played the sport. Aiiiiiirball!

    I assume that's a rented house (for Draft weekend) and some of those other guys are teammates? Lot of expensive cars if he owns them all!

    Why has he had 4 years to prove he's 'good enough'? Why are you setting up the strawman that there's only a handful of elite QBs in the NFL?

    I've seen him try to outrun an NFL DE. It's like watching a lion take down a gazelle - it's brutal.

    What other options does he has? He doesn't have a long list of suitors. The other NFC South GMs are dying for us to sign him to a big extension.

    They brought in two expensive OGs because they wanted to give him the Brees treatment - make sure the iOL is so strong that the pocket never collapses on him, because it's a bloodbath if he has to move from his spot.

    We traded the farm for the #1 overall pick. The #1 overall pick is meant to elevate the players around him, not complain that the situation isn't perfect. The reason he had no D the 2nd year is because Morgan stripped that side of the ball bare to prop up Young.

    Essentially we're either paying a replacement level player a shitload of money next year and encasing our feet in concrete before jumping in the river, or we're handing the reigns over to a rookie. The rest of the roster building has been really impressive, but the QB room is a mess.

    I am curious who's behind all of this though. A video and photos from years ago surfacing? Someone has a vendetta and is driving this PR campaign. I'm loving it, but I'd also like to know who said mystery figure is.

    I hope Freeling is a stud, but he's a roll of the dice. He's far from the finished product. Our OLine coach was giving him pointers at his Pro Day - he knows how much work Monroe has to put in. From a size / weight / agility standpoint he's the prototype LT. He needs to clean up his technique as he's winning on athleticism a lot at the moment, which won't fly in the NFL.
