I mean sure? Two inconsequential players, but you die on that hill.

Flies into Charlotte: "Yo, you gonna pay me fug you money? No? Ok, peace out".

Jalen Carter Officially a Walking Red Flag
OldhamA replied to WUnderhill's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'd think he's a psychopath if he can go out there and perform at 100% when he's being investigated for a car crash that killed someone. Each to their own though. -

It's almost like he's currently embroiled in a legal dispute and his mind his elsewhere. If he's there in the second round you run to the podium. -
I follow his Twitter account - they post clips on there. He's good for those 2-6 minute clips. I couldn't watch an entire show though.

Nah, Stroud has played with multiple first round WRs. Like Burrow during that LSU year, all he's done is hit the open guy. You can't really knock him or ask more of him because he operates within the confines of the system - he just happened to be surrounded by tons of talent. What's going to sell them on Stroud's ceiling is how he does in chalkboard sessions and the feedback they get from the background checks. He checks all the physical boxes (you'd like a stronger arm, but it's good enough), so it's whether he's got the right mental make-up. Is he a driven competitor? Can he dissect his own plays and tell you what he was thinking when he threw that pass? Same goes for Richardson I feel - although you're projecting more cos you're relying on your coaches being able to improve his mechanics (and no he doesn't have to be as accurate as Stroud to succeed in the NFL).

Panthers sign Bengals TE Hayden Hurst
OldhamA replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
You'd have to pay me a lot to leave the Bengals tbh. I'd want one of the best QBs in the league throwing me the ball if I was a skill position player. -

I don't know about our cap, but it would do wonders for my mental health. -
He goes on there every Tuesday during the regular season.
-
Why is it weird? He was too small / weak to play as a G. As a C that double teamed the DT though I thought he was good.
-
PJ Walker is terrible, he can't be here next year.
-
There's no farm left to trade I'm afraid.
-
You're hoping. JT even says he doesn't see Stroud demonstrating the playmaking ability you look for. He's shown he can do it, but it doesn't come naturally to him like it does Young.

Anthony Ricardson Board Work with Steve Mariucci

You can't make them do it. -

Again, he's dropped the AR15 nickname. -
If you want to know how bad this WR market is - not a single one has signed in FA on day 1 with all these mammoth deals flying around.
-
He definitely will have been consulted for a character reference.
-
He's an Orange County boy, no?
-
Having read all their fans wishing us an awful season next year I'm fully on board with my 'fug the Bears' stance.
-
They're not intentionally tanking, they just have nothing at QB. We've put ourselves in the same situation, whilst also floating rumours that we'd happily trade Corral.
-
He's Irish, not Scottish.
-
Now we've got the worst WR room in the NFL.
-
Too late - you need to get on it at 11 like Messi did.

How do you know he doesn't have elite level processing? Everything I've seen / read suggests he's been developing his processing at the rate you'd expect a first year starter to do, looking much better as the season went on. Who does have elite processing in this Draft? Are you sure Stroud isn't simply a product of a system? Does Young not leave throws on the field? With regards to talent, Richardson is the tallest, heaviest, fastest QB with the best arm (in terms of how strength, if not accuracy) of the leading QB group.
