  1. He was a hybrid player as a rookie. They moved him to S full time last year.
  2. He's not overhyped, he's misused. He's excellent around the LOS. If you're calling defences that ask him to carry a WR 20 yards down the field then you need to have your play calling duties removed. He's a LB all day, imo.
  3. Doesn't help that we traded McCaffrey too.
  4. Wait, NEXT year options? Damn, we still have 16 games to go THIS year with your dream QB. Slow down, dawg.
  5. He's literally never called plays before in a real game so of course he's 'in name only'.
  6. I was going to say, it's easily rectified if the players feel strongly about it - go on strike.
  7. We have at least 3 WRs that run 4.4 or better. I'm not buying that it's a slow corps.
  8. I've got a problem with spending 5 premium picks on a player that apparently needs a stellar supporting cast to succeed.
  9. I'll pay him based on his contribution in the second half - y'know, when the game was on the line. $3.50 - take it or leave it.
  10. No he didn't, he literally didn't see the S either time.
  11. Are you trading 5 premium Draft picks for any of those guys?
  12. Every complaint people have about Young (size / borderline NFL arm strength / ability to see the middle of the field) was abundantly clear on his College tape. I'm still amazed we made the pick.
  13. They're not College open in those clips, but they're NFL open. Got to make those throws - you're not going to have 5 yards of separation most downs.
  14. The young dude who has never called plays anywhere before?
  15. They don't get 'College' open, no. You have to throw them open at this level.
  16. Who should be calling plays then?
  17. This is what they signed up for when they drafted Young. If he succeeds he'll be Brees-lite, shredding you laterally until you overcompensate and he can hit a deep pass. It's a dink and dunk offence that has to be absolutely perfect in it's execution though - but that's his (physical) skill set.
  18. Three of those sacks were when we were down by 14 and the Falcons were sending jailbreak blitzes because they realised Young can't hurt them. Before that the OLine held up very well.
  19. He doesn't see the middle of the field - if you watched his tape in College it was clear that he anticipated the coverage (based off film study, mainly) and threw blind. NFL players have already sussed that out - he didn't know Bates was going to be there either time.
  20. It starts from the top - with the HC they've just paid millions and millions of dollars to.
  21. Wait, after a game where we got choked out by a bad Falcons team you thought you'd start a chest-thumping thread about Hubbard running for 60 yards (and no TDs)? H'ok, you do you, bro.
  22. I mean are we even at 53 players on the roster?
  23. That was the 1st round pick TVD I saw two years ago btw. He's clearly a system QB and needs a strong OC to hold his hand, but he can make every throw in the book.
