  1. So for the record we're 10-1 and 7 of those games weren't even close: Florida - stomped Florida A&M - stomped Ball St - stomped USF - stomped FSU - stomped Duke - stomped Wake Forest - stomped We were always in control against Louisville and VT (who are a shadow of the team without Drones at QB). We had a miracle comeback against Cal (on the road, Gameday in attendance at the game started at like midnight Miami time), but we actually pulled it off and obviously we had a let down game against GT. We're clearly a very good team. Pick another narrative - or hold the same candle to everyone else's record.
  2. How did he earn it back? Dalton got in a car accident and couldn't play.
  3. You're half correct. We'd rather our football team be good and know it won't be with a QB as limited as Young under Centre.
  4. He upped his trade value in the offseason today.
  5. Colorado didn't play a lick of defence tonight.
  6. Any reason why Sanders wasn't ejected for putting hands on a ref right there?
  7. You'd care about his sloppy footwork in the pocket. Kills his accuracy. He's calm af and can throw from multiple arm angles, but he leans on that way too much.
  8. I haven't turned on him, I just don't think he walks on water. Ever since teams started almost exclusively playing 2 high safeties against him he's struggled to move the ball consistently. He wants the big play every down. It's maddening. Just take what is there and keep the chains moving / the score board moving. I wouldn't draft him in the first round if I was a GM.
  9. The blueprint is out on Ward - play 2 high safeties. He doesn't have the patience to drive down the field.
  10. The NFL is well known for being a merciful league. Coaches absolutely don't run up the score if they can...
  11. You'd have to drastically overpay. If he's any good they'll want to keep him - a good backup QB is invaluable. If he's not any good, well there's no real tape out on him yet so they'll want at least the Draft pick they spent on him back.
  12. I'd take him on a backup QB's salary. He's made his money fleecing the Giants - take a home town discount, Danny Deutsche Mark.
  13. I want to see them back up this Draft class with another good one. That's the only way we claw our way back to relevancy.
  14. Horn is an elite CB. Fields will be on his third team in five years next season.
  15. Invest the top Draft picks in BPA - hope that's a D player. Pick up a veteran starting QB in FA. You can't go into next season with Young as your starting QB.
  16. Or at least he wasn't strong enough in his convictions to resign when we did select Young.
  17. Doesn't have the deep ball accuracy of either of those guys.
  18. Imagine drafting the most 'pro ready' QB and having to rebuild his footwork from the ground up. I'm amazed Fitterer is employed in the NFL. Genuinely amazed.
  19. Passive aggressive much? If you can point out where I've chastised anyone for enjoying the win I'd be most grateful.
  20. Isn't this the last year of his contract? I think he squeezes all the juice out of what you've got - but no, he's not an aggressive DC. If that's what you're looking for the he won't be your cup of tea.
  21. Genuinely, BPA. We've neglected to do that for so long. The last two times we did that we got Brown and Horn, who are clearly two of our best players and stand out from their peers on this team.
  22. Wallace was in on the game-sealing fumble - he shot the gap and slowed the RB down so Robinson could make the tackle. He also isn't an edge rusher, which is what I gather Walker is. You're talking about D.J. Johnson, who Jones did indeed knock out.
  23. I think it's more he'll want to leave rather than we'll want to get rid of him. He's an excellent DC.
