  1. Nah, rock bottom will be Burns leaving as a Free Agent in the offseason when we turned down 2 first round picks and a second round pick for him last year (in addition to the Bears picking #1 overall).
  2. WR D.J. Moore 2023 first-round pick (No. 9 overall) 2023 second-round pick (No. 61 overall) 2024 first-round pick (trending to be No. 1 overall) 2025 second-round pick
  3. Bingo. When you trade FIVE premium players for the guy you expect more than a handful of plays by now where you think "Yeah, ok, he's going to be fine when the playcalling / roster improves". And fine is a low bar, because for that cost he has to be exceptional.
  4. Good advice - welcome to my ignore list.
  5. Evero will have his pick of DC jobs if he doesn't get a HC gig. Why would he stay here?
  6. Any HC / GM candidate that says "I can work with Bryce Young" during their interview should be shown the door.
  7. No problem with that piece (as someone with a Journalism degree). Personally I wouldn't be calling out a vindictive billionaire, but more power to Fowler.
  8. They're objectively not slow by the only metric NFL scouts care about.
  9. No I don't, I want Fitterer and Reich fired yesterday - the team is talent poor (Fitterer) and the players aren't being put in positions to succeed (Reich). Despite that I can also see that the 5'10", 185lb QB with questionable arm strength that we gave up FIVE premium picks for isn't good enough.
  10. Cos it demonstrates NFL arm strength. The play afterwards where he throws it into the stands 'cos he doesn't want to challenge the DB and the play starting at 5:12 where the DB breaks on the ball show his arm strength / what he actually thinks of it. The playbook is very, very limited with Young back there - he simply can't make a number of staple NFL throws.
  11. When Orlovsky was announced as our first choice for QB Coach I knew we were in big trouble.
  12. It's not rocket science, he can attack the defence at all three levels. Young cannot.
  13. Why call deep routes if Young is unable / unwilling to hit them? 9 games in and no defence is worried about our ability to get in behind them now.
  14. That is not a 15 yard out against an NFL CB.
  15. Mingo runs a 4.46. Chark runs a 4.36. Marshall runs a 4.38 (admittedly at his Pro Day, so let's say he runs a 4.4). Ironically our slowest WR is the one that's open the most.
  16. Clip 1 is why I don't watch his stuff anymore. He's determined to die on that Bryce Young hill. "They're all stop routes" - except Mingo is running an out. I'd want the ball to go to him, only Young knows that he doesn't have the arm to make that throw in the NFL... which is a big part of the problem.
  17. Why delay firing Fitterer? I don't want to hand him 6 more Draft picks to waste and ask him to resolve the Burns issue (he either has to hand him an albatross contract or Franchise Tag and trade him this offseason). Do a proper search for a GM, give him full control over the football decisions and let him do his job.
  18. And 6 wasted Draft picks and an albatross contract for Burns / Burns walking away for free. Bite the bullet and hire a professional GM this offseason.
  19. I wouldn't mind Evero being given interim-HC duties (even though it's a kiss of death), but he wouldn't be first in line for it. I'd like him to interview for the HC job next year - he's got that MASH unit playing much better than the sum of its parts. Morgan can get to steppin'. He is complicit in the Young Draft pick.
  20. How do you know they're not going to be an elite HC? The move that needs to be made in the offseason is a new GM, with full control over football operations, being brought in - he then hires his own HC and is given 3 years to rebuild the roster. We don't have a first round pick next year, but we have a pick in the next 6 rounds AND we have to work out what we're doing with Burns (either tagged and traded or given an albatross contract). Do you really want Fitterer in charge of any of that? It just delays the rebuild and handcuffs the next GM.
  21. You've literally just said we're intentionally tanking the season with a failed HC / GM combo because we won't be the prettiest girl at the dance in the offseason. Why are people who pay thousands of dollars for a seat license, before you factor in the thousands of dollars on tickets themselves, expected to just take that on the chin? Nowhere did I say it could be fixed in one offseason.
  22. Is Tepper refunding every PSL owner in this scenario?
  23. He's already stepped back from calling plays (something he clearly didn't want to do) and he looks completely disengaged on the sidelines. I suspect he wanted Stroud (or Richardson) and was overruled. He wants no part of this dumpster fire, that much is clear - he'll be off in January.
