Panthers Sign QB White to roster; Christensen on IR

Would they still activate his fifth year option? -
Hello from 2024, Josh Norris.
-
So what he's saying is that if people don't get off their blocks, good things happen for the O?

Is Canales digging his own grave?

We're at an impasse. I just don't believe Young hasn't been forced upon Canales and Morgan. Nothing you can say will change that. -
AJ Green (also notice how much velocity Dalton has lost on his throws, it's startling):

Again, I simply can't see how that's the case when you look around the rest of the building. Every other position group has improved (some out of sight) yet he's got a blind spot to the failings of Young and Dalton? I can't believe that. -

Getting buy in from the players is a bad thing now? I'm going to assume he learned that from National Champion and Super Bowl winner, Pete Carroll. -

Canales didn't turn the ball over 4 times and get sacked 7 times, my dude. If you want to criticise Morgan and Canales, criticise them for not being brave enough to stand up to Tepper about the QB room. I think, on the whole, they've done the rest of their jobs pretty well. -

Look at Belicheat without Brady. I refuse to fully judge Canales until he has a QB. -

He has a team with no QB at .500 in season 2. Just how high are our standards after a decade of basement dwelling? You have to crawl before you can walk. Walk before you can run.- 173 replies

I don't think he has an NFL arm.
-
His name isn't David Tepper. One dude drafted Bryce Young. I'd be more concerned that Morgan was stood next to Fitterer during his franchise tanking Drafts if we hadn't had a pretty good 2025 Draft in April.
-
It was more that they had to draft that QB. They made a big song and dance about vetting them all. They thought they were the smartest guys in the room. Instead Fitterer is now bumming around in someone else's Front Office making coffee and Tepper is out tens of millions of dollars.
-
The opposite - this is a great opportunity for a QB to rebuild his career. They'll be lining up, if we're serious about challenging Young. If we're not they'll obviously go elsewhere.
-
The current HC/GM have zero emotional ties to Young. Tepper is the one that forced him on them.
-
You mean with the MVP candidate QB in the backfield keeping you honest?
-
Yeah, no, this wasn't Canales throwing the game plan out of the window and going pass happy. This was Dalton literally turning the ball over or getting sacked every other time he touched it. You cannot win with that, regardless of who's in your backfield. And I'm not over exaggerating - 24 throws, 4 turnovers, 7 sacks.
-
Dalton turned the ball over 4 times.
-
I don't think he's very good either, but you just need to manage the game behind this OLine with these weapons.
-
We've been awful for 6 straight quarters - on O and D. Just baffling.
-
I've genuinely no idea what happens with this Miami team. Once they lose a game it's fuging season over. Every year. Mental midgets.

This Sellers kid is undraftable.
