You're goddamn right about that. He's overcome being 5'10", 180lbs with a noodle arm all his life. Alas he's not been able to overcome those shortcomings at the NFL level.

Agree to disagree I guess. The Defence was awful last season - Ward put up a bazillion points every game. The D just gave up a bazillion and one at times.

He'll 'turn' T-Mac into a 1,000 yard receiver too. He hyper focuses on one guy and throws them the ball way more than he should. The rest of our receiving corps barely gets a look in.

I don't think the Chargers will let Lance leave. You're realistically going to have to trade for one of the better backups in the league - or spunk your first overall on a massive gamble / pay a terrible 30+ year old to start.

And he's missed a couple of walk-in TDs to Renfrow. He missed a walk-in TD to Tremble this week and a walk-in TD to T-Mac last week.

I've only ever seen Young make regulation NFL throws - which, yes, compared to what the average person can do are impressive, but he's never thrown a football with the type of velocity where I've thought "Damn, ok".

He lasted 11 years and tore his shoulder up twice. Young isn't fit to carry his jock.

As a Canes fan, we're very much missing Cam Ward. If he was our QB this year I think we win the National Title. I'm nowhere near as bullish with Carson Beck under Centre.

It's insane that they're still trotting him out there. This is not a serious franchise. We have an owner (and a GM / HC beholden to said owner) more interested in trying to save face than actually trying to win football games. A franchise serious about winning would have admitted Young wasn't the guy halfway through last season and committed to moving on from him.

"Not a franchise QB" suggests that you think he's an NFL QB. He's not that, either. He might make a wonderful son-in-law for someone and be a competent middle manager down the line, but he's not an NFL calibre football player and, quite frankly, clearly never was.
