He's a good player, but we never actually used him. Don't mind him leaving - shame he's gone to the Saints. He's obviously the enemy now.
-
Only guy I've ever seen run down McCaffrey. Sign him up.
-
I swear some of you will find anything to complain about. Manhertz is a third string NFL TE. Why is anyone sweating him leaving?
-
I mean you've watched him play, right?
-
Chris Simms.

You ain't worth a bag, Jermaine. Happy trails.

We've not been a destination for a while.
-
He's also on record as saying they'd sold out to win Super Bowls Last year was their gut check year. They're able to throw money around again now.
-
I mean that's three terrible players right there.

Happy trails.

Honestly I think he's just boringly efficient at getting the ball to his playmakers in space. Very few flashy plays or jaw dropping throws (he doesn't have the arm strength for that), so people don't have anything to hang their hat on. When you're being criticised for executing the complex offence of the National Champions well then what can you do?
-
He's too small to play G. That's probably why he's been poor the last few years. Plug the guy in at C and watch him work. Whilst I think you can swing players between T and G (although I wouldn't encourage it), it's very rare that you can swing a C to G (or vice versa). It's a very specialised position.

Panthers sign OT Cam Erving - 2 years, 10 million, 8 fully guaranteed

It's two talented guys that haven't quite panned out in the NFL. By the looks of it Fitterer and Rhule have decided they'd rather target the guys they want early and just get the deal over the line at what they consider a reasonable price than sit around and let the market dictate who we end up with. It's aggressive - albeit not with the elite FAs. -

Isn't Kuechly involved with our pro scouting? -
Honestly, Jordan isn't even the best TE on the Canes roster. I like him as an H-Back guy. I think his ceiling is probably Jared Cook. The biggest knock for me is that he can't stay healthy - has never finished a full season in College.
-
Waddle prefers him too.
-
Because I've watched the games?
-
Oh my we're absolutely watching different games! At the end of the day, Rhule and Fitterer spent a week with him in Mobile. If we don't Draft him it's because they weren't impressed enough. I disagree wholeheartedly with this analysis though.

So this is why I cringed when watching the Super Bowl. When it was clear that it was over, Romo went into a whole "well Mahomes will win a few more before he retires. He might not catch Brady though..." script. I'm sat there thinking "it's BLOODY hard to win the Super Bowl. It takes more than an exceptional QB." Marino never won one. Kelly never won one. Manning only won one (the second was won by the corpse of Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos defence). That's three first ballot HOFers right there.

I think our feelings are summed up accurately by the following:

That's exactly what I see in Jones. I wasn't high on him when I watched him play for Alabama - fell into the trap of "oh he's not that athletic / oh he's throwing to future first round picks" etc. Then when I analysed his tape I started seeing what Simms, Jenkins et al see. A guy that clearly processes the game at an elite rate (in just over a year of starts). Games are won and lost from the pocket - he can slide in it and can make all the throws you ask an NFL QB to make. That's all I needed to see. I don't agree that he's got a higher floor than others either - he's just as likely to bust as all the rest. He'll either stick in the NFL or he won't.

LOL even their teammates think Jones is better than Tagovailoa. I don't know what the guy has done to piss so many people off.
