So is this our Day 3 general thread then?
-
Good article, but they've got the acronym wrong I'm afraid, it's the Rhule Against Slowness score.

You mean Predator, right? -
All aboard the Tommy Tremble bandwagon

Bearing in mind McKitty was taken in the 3rd round, NFL teams clearly value the TE position. -
Interesting. David Tepper LOVES Brady Christensen

Honestly I think it's relief. I can't imagine they expected such a run on OTs to happen when they traded down from #39. -

Who lacks athleticism and has shaky hands? -
My board; whoever's still available with a score over 8 on the Rhule Against Slowness board.

Round 3(b) - Carolina Panthers Select Notre Dame TE Tommy Tremble
OldhamA replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
Oh of course. I watched the cut-up of him v. Boston College and the dude just wasn't targeted. Blocked a few guys into oblivion though. Obviously had to go and find out whether he had a highlights tape of him catching the ball and, yep. Shows strong hands - so it must just have been a bad QB / stacked TE room thing 'cos he can play. -
No, but he's a zone OL and that's what we're looking for. Some of the unathletic monsters people are listing wouldn't fit the system.
-
Look at my avatar. Tremble has more potential than Jordan and plays with way more fire. I do like Yeboah a pure receiving TE though. McKitty did jack poo at two colleges.

His hands are fine: -
I mean fug it, with how quickly we get the ball out, if Christensen just has to be serviceable at LT for it to work.
-
Trey Smith is still available, right?
-
How often were Armah, Thomas and Manhertz on the field? Right now he's TE2, but already a better blocker than Arnold so I suspect he'll be in a lot on obvious running downs. Arnold is your redzone TE though.
-
They get a height / weight / speed project and so did we.
-
He's also clearly absolutely another attitude pick. It's absolutely a theme. Horn plays with a chip, but is all business. I saw Marshall block a kid off the screen in the one game cut-up I've watched of him so far. Plus the whole 'high character' team guy report thing that was posted about him. Christensen is a Mormon, so I assume he's good people. Tremble wants to block guys into oblivion. Rhule (and Fitterer) are clearly looking to build an athletic, physical and competitive football team. It's refreshing.

I was making a joke.

For what it's worth having watched his cut-ups against Boston College I like him more than Brevin Jordan already. -

He's a little small for my liking, but clearly very explosive and brings it when he blocks. Can't hate the pick, there's definitely upside here. -
I mean are there any QBs left?!
-
Remember when that kicker was a total bust? Delicious.
-
Honestly - athleticism and character are what Rhule is looking for.

Round 2 - Carolina Panthers select LSU WR Terrace Marshall

Pretty sure you just copy and paste it. -

That horse bolted when we traded down from #39. Pretty much every OT was picked. I know very little about this guy, but the first tape I watched (against Miss St) had me intrigued. He's another exceptional athlete relative to his position - sensing a theme here for Rhule.
