  1. I've never slurped anyone in my life. As for Darnold - he looked good until the hits started to add up. He's shell shocked again now - shite job by our OC and our HC / GM. The QBs last year were much better than this year - I'd take Jones at #6 if he was available this year, no problem. I wanted to take Mahomes, but we took McCaffrey instead.
  2. He was a good college QB who was made to look better than he was by two 10+ year NFL vets at WR.
  3. Why pass up better QBs last year and next year to desperately take your guy this year? This is why we're a mediocre (at best) franchise. Taking any QB #6 overall this year is criminal. Stick to the fuging plan and pick up a cornerstone LT.
  4. Dead set on QB at 6 in a terrible QB draft class. Typical.
  5. The other way round I think. DW: "Yeah I'm out". Falcons / Saints / Panthers: "No, we won't pay you $230m guaranteed" DW: "Andrew, bubby...how's things?"
  6. Nope. You can't play Elflein at G, he's not big enough. I see this as him being relegated to a swing backup. Draft a LT at #6 and call it a day.
  7. He's almost certainly negotiating with potential trade partners himself.
  8. If he's Zod it has to be a Superman reference.
  9. Do you value $40m over being invited back to the Falcons org ever again while Arthur Blank and his family still own the franchise?
  10. Nobody can fit him under their Salary Cap is the problem.
  11. 3 of the 4 teams willing to entertain employing a sexual predator tells me that it's a cess pool. It's a good point about Ryan - he's a borderline HoF QB. If you guys thought we disrespected Newton, this is a whole other level.
  12. I obviously don't watch it, but is the MLS really that weak? One player can make that much of a difference? 'Cos it doesn't work like that in the top divisions around the world.
  13. If nothing else it shows that the NFC South is a cess pool.
  14. Even Premier League teams wouldn't entertain Watson. See Mason Greenwood and Benjamin Mendy.
  15. Why would the Raiders allow you to take their franchise QB for a reasonable price?
  16. I actually think he made a gamble on Brady and lost. McAdoo will change things drastically and allow our young, talented, defence to actually get off the field.
  17. Should have brought an IG 'model' and a bottle of baby oil.
  18. I don't see how that benefits the Browns.
  19. Also quoted out of context. Lovely stuff. The reality that his OC is now a QB Coach (i.e. he was massively out of his depth) and the iOL couldn't block anyone? Sure.
  20. I mean sure if you're in for one sexual predator, might as well be in for them all, right?
  21. I'm not willing to give up on Darnold until he's got an OLine in front of him. As I constantly reference, Romo (commented on our last game of the season) said that no QB had a chance behind that OLine. I'd take his assessment over anyone on here. Also, once you give up 3 first round picks and 2 defensive starters on rookie deals our team would no longer be better than theirs.
  22. But I'm told he's a franchise QB. Top 5 in the league. Would lead us to greatness. Why is it ok for the Panthers to gut their team to acquire him, but it's questionable for the Falcons to do so? Ryan will retire very soon, so that's not really an argument.
