  1. That's the thing I don't think Darnold has terrible accuracy or processing. The big limiting factor for him are his mechanics, which improved during the offseason and regressed the more he got beaten up behind this Oline. His potential is still through the roof IF this Oline doesn't get him killed first.
  2. Marshall looks the part - he needs to start seeing Anderson's looks tbh if that guy keeps dropping passes. Tremble I think can be a tremendous chess piece. I'd love someone like Jalen Wydermyer or David Njoku as your big TE and Tremble as your Hback / #2 TE. But then I've always overvalued TEs, I just think they're mismatch players. Obviously we disagree about Darnold, but I do think they need at LEAST two new quality starters on the Oline next year. I hope they don't back themselves into a corner with that 1st round pick.
  3. Based off what I've seen so far; Horn, Marshall, Tremble, Hubbard, Nixon and Taylor look like big-time contributors. Smith I hope for, but let's see what he achieves now that he's active. Brown, Fletcher and Hoskins are TBC. Christensen is the only real anomaly.
  4. It's hard to really question a do-over in the Draft because we came out of it so well. Looking back though I wonder if you replace Christensen with Spencer Brown. They don't appear to want to play Christensen, but are happy to insert Jordan into the lineup (along with Scott, Miller and Daley), so that's beginning to worry me. At least Brown has OT traits.
  5. Who is Greg A. Bedard and why is he such a 'tard? They weren't putting Darnold in a straitjacket. They were limiting the opportunities for the Oline to get their QB killed and stall out drives. There's times when I wish I'd used my journalism degree to go into journalism - the industry is rife with absolute morons. Alas the money is terrible and I wasn't willing to brown-nose my way onto the ladder.
  6. Yes, is it a bruise? Is it a tear? Which part of the shoulder is injured?
  7. What do you consider to be a 'franchise' QB? In my opinion there's only like 10 of them in the game - everyone else you're always trying to upgrade. This team is much better than it was under the last years of Rivera - he and Hurney left us dead in a ditch. It looks like he's taking Washington to the same ditch now.
  8. Someone spent a decent Draft pick on Morgan. Nobody drafted Walker. I'd much rather see Morgan on Sunday.
  9. Delhomme isn't on the same level as the names you followed his with. Good player, lived off Smith's dominance mainly, but had a very firm ceiling.
  10. The same guy who's the reason Gronkowski will be in a wheelchair by the time he's 50.
  11. There's a good portion of you that just revel in misery.
  12. Define 'real QB'. I assume you mean a QB that doesn't mind persistent pressure in the A gap.
  13. Considering the resources they've invested on the defensive side of the ball I should hope so.
  14. They only have a 5th rounder next year - and yes they're going to fall off hard when this window closes.
  15. Could it be any worse than it already is?
  16. Well in the same game Moore missed an easy block to spring Smith on a 3-on-2 screen, so erm... both.
  17. LOL god some of you are so entrenched with your opinion of players that you slant every scenario. The ball was late and hung up in the air, huh? Sure. Moore didn't run his route. Sadly Darnold isn't good enough to recognise that Moore wasn't doing his job in the split second he has to make the decision to throw that - only the Rodgers / Mannings / Bradys / Brees of the world are that good. Everyone else needs their teammates to turn up.
  18. Why not? Go check out our all-time record against them.
  19. Nah, when do defensive players ever get to score a TD? Run it in - it's a 2 score game.
