Big Ten and SEC fixing to dismantle the ACC?
OldhamA replied to Squirrel's topic in Carolina Panthers
Miami and Clemson are talking about it - rumours they're a package deal. The media deal for the ACC is terrible in comparison to the SEC / B1G one - they'll both leave, you'd be hamstrung competing against the teams in the Power 2 if you stayed. UNC are being eyed up by both conferences too. -
Add sexual assault to the Dan Snyder allegations

He's a cartoon villain at this point. -
How prepared are you for another hilariously miserable season?

fug me you miserable sods could suck the life out of any room. -
He's thick as pigshit.

Happy trails. Absolutely not good enough for the headaches he causes.

Joe Brady was the 'singular pinpoint move' that could have killed his career. He survived that - so I suspect he's here for a while longer now.

I despite the Haka. Their opponents are forced to stand there and watch them prance around with their little dance firing themselves up. Any reaction is outlawed - England got fined for this, it's bullshit:
-
Except it's been reported that they called around to see if anyone was interested, but nobody was blowing them away with an offer so they stuck.

If I'm Mayfield I'm turning up every day. If they force me to sit out drills, so be it - but I wouldn't want to forgo any pay cheque because they've sold the farm for Watson. Avoiding the facility just makes it easier for them - and actually hurts you keeping in game shape (+ if you get hurt working out away from the facility you're not covered).

Kurt Warner on The Herd, talking about our new QB.

Mario Cristobal was the right choice for the Hurricanes, but there was a part of me that was ready to embrace the Lane Kiffin hate. He wanted the job BADLY. -
I think it's the opposite these days - defences trying to figure out how to stop offences. The game has shifted from 'how do we score against you' to 'how can we limit your scoring'? Mainly due to the rule changes.

Yep, it's why we took Horn at #8, the Broncos took Surtain at #9 and the Texans and the Jets took Stingley and Gardner at #3 and #4 respectively. You can never have enough good CBs.

He's 250lbs, they've known they can run on him since his rookie season.
-
Good lord you people have a pathological hatred of Rhule.
-
OP really doesn't like Darnold (assuming OP is the host ). Also I felt like you strayed into the Option, rather than the RPO when talking about that part of the game. Otherwise a good listen.

According to Scott.... QB competition between Matt and Sam
OldhamA replied to Lurk21's topic in Carolina Panthers
Unless you're bringing him in to start - and we know that he's washed so that would be a mistake - then don't sign him. He's simply a massive distraction - this fan base can't disassociate the player he is today with the player he was in 2015. -
If he beats out Darnold, sure.
-
He's limited his touches himself - he hasn't played for two years.

If a city offers a new stadium and training facility...
OldhamA replied to Jmac's topic in Carolina Panthers
They could never work out how to get the A's there. No way they've got the money for an NFL team. -
It was certainly the epitome of filler.

It concerns me, to be honest. It's out of step with the rest of the article. Fitterer: "If I had the #1 pick I'd take Ekwuno". Also Fitterer: "Ekwuno unexpectedly fell to #6 and I chanced my arm at a trade, knowing he wouldn't be available when I picked again". Same mistake we made last year. I don't know who the OT we were targeting in the 2nd round was, but I'm inferring, from the relief in Tepper's voice when he made the Draft call and the way they handled his rookie season, that it wasn't Brady Christensen. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate how Fitterer has accumulated picks and moved around the Draft board, but sometimes he gets a little too cute when the answer is staring him in the face.

Cross is a better pass protector now, but Ekwonu has a higher upside if he takes on board the techniques he'll be taught by Campen. We're committed to running the football with this OLine. This won't be a finesse team.
