  1. I have Cross as the best LT in this Draft. I'd be ecstatic if he was there at #6.
  2. He's a RSr too, so he'll be 23 already. It's not like he's a 21 year old Jr that you have a little time to work with.
  3. Ok at this point we need to trade Anderson for anything we can get. What a cancer.
  4. The Players' Union is in a tough bind if guys aren't willing to play out their rookie contracts. The owners won't stand for that.
  5. It'd be a surprise if Murray honours his contract? Oh please, let's rush to bring in such a team player.
  6. He'll walk into a top College job if he leaves after this season.
  7. No actual scout will tell you anything. If you mean the guys that own scouting websites or contribute to the NFL scouting pages - they're not scouts.
  8. The problem you've got there is you're talking about borderline HoF talents at the most important position in sport. It's not normal to play that long.
  9. He was told not to play this season so he could recover from the surgery he had.
  10. His tape is better than every other QBs in this Draft. What does that say for the rest of them? His red flag to me is "how bad is that knee". Everything else about him I think "yes, I can win with him at QB in the NFL".
  11. He hasn't played in an NFL system, but he has NFL traits - best combination of arm / accuracy / mobility in this Draft. I just don't know how he's going to translate to an NFL offence. He rarely makes full-field reads - he's mostly successful out of the (S)RPO.
  12. It's just lazy journalism (and lazy fans tbh). That OLine we put out there last year got everyone obliterated - yet it's all the QB's fault.
  13. You don't become a billionaire by paying for things yourself.
  14. I'm not giving them Darnold AND a 5th rounder. We've spent enough Draft capital on that guy as it is.
  15. My approach to the QB position is that, first of all, you always carry three. It's the most important position in sports - having an extra STer on the roster rather than a third QB is mental to me. Secondly, you draft one every other year (or every year if you don't like the guys currently in your room). To me you have a starter, a backup and a development guy. Those roles are flexible depending on age / experience / potential. Obviously you're going to miss on a lot of those later round Draft picks, but every now and again you're going to find a gem.
  16. Then when you do run into your 'Franchise' QB you're still looking for a LT. Weird take.
  17. I honestly think he's probably too broken at this point to fix, at least in terms of reaching his potential. Putting him behind THAT OLine last year was criminal, and a complete waste of resources - they traded for a reclamation project then threw him into the fire. I'd much rather strengthen the OLine for the next guy, whoever that may be, than roll the dice with a premium pick on a middling QB prospect this year.
