  1. I have absolutely zero read on his Draft stock. The tape says first round pick, but apparently the medicals say UDFA.
  2. The Hurricanes are about to run the ACC Coastal, so maybe your football fandom in general might flame out.
  3. It's not like any team have significantly better doctors than the rest. They'll all see the same things on the scans - some teams are just more risk averse than others. There's no wool being pulled over eyes here.
  4. I agree with you about Trask, but in his defence that Florida team was devoid of offensive talent.
  5. I'd love to walk away from this Draft with Cross and Strong.
  6. Because first and foremost his job is to diagnose defences and throw the football. That's not a strong point for him. I'm the person that thinks we should have hired the Auburn OC when we drafted Newton and brought that offensive system with him - it's what he did best and the reason he was a giant in College football.
  7. You ok, bud? Your recent posts have been... odd.
  8. Essentially people are arguing in favour of taking a 2nd round talent QB at #6 because "we have no QB and your team is nothing without one". At best those people should be arguing in favour of trading down and getting their mediocre QB prospect and A.N. Other.
  9. Manziel was a bad pick from the get go - he won with bullshit backyard football plays that simply wouldn't fly in the NFL. I'm amazed Murray gets away with it so often in Arizona to be honest, but then he's much more athletic than Johnny Football. I didn't like the Newton pick, but he did pretty much single-handedly drag two College programmes to National Championships, so we're comparing apples to oranges.
  10. The Browns built their roster and were able to win with Baker Mayfield (hint, he's not very good) - so the exact same franchise adds weight to both arguments.
  11. Addison had 600 receiving yards and 4 TDs as a true Freshman in 2020. He's a monster.
  12. It's a highlights clip. The plays you want to watch are how badly does he get beat against elite competition / how does he recover?
  13. To be fair you can turn it off for a day and a half anyway. We won't be picking again until Day 3.
  14. Well that's unnecessarily mean, JT O'Sullivan.
  15. Could you imagine if he came out and put up a good season behind an actual OLine and took us to a winning record? The Huddle wouldn't know how to handle it - they've been toxic about the guy from day 1.
  16. They didn't think enough of him to not throw their morals (and all their money / Draft picks) out of the window for Watson. Who cares if he goes on to start for the Steelers? They've basically said "Baker sucks".
  17. Makes no sense to if you're trying to convince teams you might take a QB at #6. They might make a trade on Draft weekend, but before doesn't work imo.
  18. Burns (Burns) Metcalfe (Little) Gardner-Johnson (Grier) Snell Jr (Miller) Minshew (Scarlett) Daley (Daley) Dogbe (Godwin)
  19. The Athletic seems like a great idea in principle, but the local journalists they employ are terrible.
  20. A generational talent that couldn't cut it at Auburn and had to transfer to Liberty. Yeah, seems unlikely.
  21. Depends what the Eagles want for Minshew - Day 3 pick and I'm all over it. My ideal offseason would be Cross at #6, trade for Minshew and trade back up for Strong. That gives you a stronger OLine that we fielded in 2021, two QBs competing for the starting job and a very promising development guy.
  22. Is the key one for me. If Tepper is putting pressure on him to take a QB in this Draft, then Fitterer should walk away. Basically "trust me to do my job, or get someone else to do it".
