So, why was LaFell's catch percentage higher during his first season with Cam (2011) than with his first year with Brady (2014)? Furthermore.... argument: "Cam doesn't make other players better" counterarguments: Greg Olsen averaged 32 yards a game in his 4 years with the Bears. Averages just above 50 per game in 4 years with Cam. Steve Smith 554 yards 2 TDs in 2010. 1394 yards 7 TDs in 2011 with Cam Ted Ginn 2 receptions, 1 yard in 2012. 36 receptions 556 yards in 2013 with Cam. Panthers offense dead last in everything in 2010. Top 7 in everything in 2011 with Cam.

Never got into many WWII games tbh. I casually played the first few COD games before the series just completely blew up. I've always been a fan of the Ghost Recon series. However the last GR game I played I thought tried to rip off a little too much from COD and BF. Still, it is easily my favorite combat series. The only GR game I really didn't care for was Island Thunder on the original Xbox.

Recency bias... Go back and watch season 1 of Breaking Bad. I think season one of Better Call Saul is much better than season one of Breaking Bad. Now, as far as the whole series, Breaking Bad is going to be very hard to top. But at this point in their runs BCS > BB.

Yeah, I agree with Darth. 3 days of squats and 2 of deadlifts will burn you out quick, even if you aren't doing a whole lot of reps. Overall, though it isn't a bad routine to start. As you stick with it, you'll find what works and what doesn't and make your tweaks. I would throw in some curls with dumbbells, too. You may start out only curling 20, but it seems most people make gains very quick when you stick to them. That confidence boost knowing that you've tripled your curl in a short time can be really beneficial.

How much input, if any, does Rivera have with the offensive gameplans? It seems to me that he lets his OCs do most of the gameplanning while he makes in game decisions (like 4th down conversions, playing for a field goal, etc). I may be somewhat biased after the Fox years, when we had several OCs yet very minimal changes were made to our offense. During the Rivera years, there is a very stark contrast between Chud's and Shula's offenses. Chud's offense was very aggressive, almost to the point of being detrimental to the team's success. Shula's offense is designed around simply taking what the defense allows and keeping the other team's offense on the sideline. I bring this up because Rivera is often criticized for being too conservative offensively, but imo, no conservative defensive coach would allow Chud to install the read option as our base offense. To me, that signifies that he is extremely detached from the offensive side of the ball. Our woes in 2012 were obvious to everyone. The read option was not a viable base offense. I know Ron saw it. Chud saw it, but his ego didn't allow him to believe it. I think the late changes were forced on Ron because, once again, he didn't have the testosterone to make the changes himself early in the season.

And the week 17 game with the division (and playoffs) on the line is an example of why I have such a love-hate relationship with Rivera. When the pressure is on, he's very good. (Even if the Falcons had given up on their coach, they were also playing for the division and the playoffs.) But when Rivera is comfortable, he is hot garbage. It drives me insane that he acknowledges his mistakes and corrects them, only to become complacent and make the same mistakes all over again.

If we got the W, we would have been 8-8 and still division champs. If we lost we would have been 7-9 and still won the division by virtue of a better divisional record than the 7-9 saints. In short, the tie was not the reason we were in the playoffs. It was just Rivera retracting any testosterone in his body.
