  3. I think MTS Whey gets a lot of good press mostly because it tastes great. If you're watching your cholesterol level, you may want to look elsewhere but otherwise it is fairly good quality.
  4. About 8 or 9 years ago I had a really bad case of tendonitis that happened to coincide with loading creatine. I don't know if it was because of creatine or just a coincidence, but I started looking into it and saw that it is pretty common.

  6. creatine definitely increases performance in high intensity anaerobic exercise. that big of a jump is rare, but it does happen. i actually encourage people to skip the loading phase. your muscles tend to grow pretty fast during loading and your tendons don't always keep up. you can develop chronic tendonitis that way.
  7. I've run on ice in complete darkness (yay early morning PT in Germany). After the first 3 miles or so, you forget the weather.
  8. Cold is relative. Get moisture wicking clothes so the sweat doesn't cool you too much, and put some fabric over your nose/mouth so your breath retains moisture and you don't get that burning in your lungs.
